I'm a regular customer and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Antony is very welcoming. Always have a good chat with him while getting my hair cut. Usually get seen quickly and can definitely recommend this place if you need a trim at a decent price.

To begin with I am not an individual who review frequently, but Antony surely deserves a 5 star review, I moved to Edinburgh few years ago and struggled to find a good barber, couple of years later one of my friends recommended Antony Zein to me, and to be honest he is one of the finest barbers I have visited in Edinburgh, very reasonably priced, newly renovated venue, great haircut and bread trim. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Antony since 2013 at his old shop in Carrick Knowe. I also travel from Midlothian for the pleasure! That should hopefully speak for itself. Always get a good haircut. First class service too. Antony and Adam are ever the professionals and make customers feel welcomed. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Arriving with 2 years hair growth, Antony performed a minor maricle on my mop, knocked 5 years off my calender age. Everyone who has met me has commented on how good my hair now looks. Always a good experience with Antony from the moment I walk in the door until when I leave, he makes sure you are comfortable with how he is going to cut your hair not what he wants but what you want. always takes an interest in how you are how life is treating you. It will not be 2 years until my next appointment 2 months at most.

Antony has cut my hair for a few years now before moving to his new premises on St John's Road. It's really smart and he and his team are very skilled and efficient. I normally try to make an appointment to avoid waiting, but I would rather wait than go elsewhere. It's a friendly, relaxed environment and I have never felt disappointed with my cut. I would sooner he had called it a barber's but then maybe I need to 'get with the beat'. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him. Peter cut my hair today though and he's good - (watch out Antony !!)

Friendly, relaxed, highly efficient service in fine surroundings. I'm glad to have his place locally as I've tried other places further afield and been disappointed.

I come to the barber every week and the service is second to none. offered juice or water on arrival and never need to wait long on a seat! brought my son along with me a couple of times (2and a half years old) and hes put completely at ease and is in his element with all the chat and vibes in the place. adam cuts my hair and i like to call him a wizard with the scissors. what a guy and what a shop. would recommend
