I was so nervous to get my hair done as I’ve had bad experiences in the past. But let me tell you this was the best experience I have ever had at a hairdressers! The wonderful Anna took me over to the chair and spent the first part just having a chat and seeing what I wanted done. She even got her own pictures to explain what she was going to do which put me at so much ease! She really listened to what I wanted and the length I wanted chopped off. The whole process was amazing from the hair washing to the cutting and styling. She truly has a lot of knowledge about hair and I felt so comfortable and trusting of her so much that I felt so relaxed the whole time! All the way through she always consulted me which was new for myself ( I loved that). At the end I got a little stamp card which was so cute. The entire atmosphere is very professional and calming. You get a coffee and a biscuit when you arrive too! Thank you so much to Anna for my hair I absolutely love it and I will be back!

Such a friendly, warm welcome we received (my daughter, myself & our puppy! ) We were both very happy with our cut & blow dry (with Nadine & Val). Really enjoyed my latte & parking was easy. We will definitely be back & would highly recommend JFK!

Proper hair experts at JFK. Karen has looked after my hair in the last 8 years I've been visiting this salon. I have jet black and thick hair and she knows how to handle it well by applying her own technique in cutting and styling. She is very good at what she does. The interiors of the salon are fabulous and I feel very looked after when I go. Thank you Karen and the team!

Been going for 4 years since I moved from London....Nadine is a wonderful Hairdresser, always bubbly and friendly too. (Ask for her if you are going for colour). If ever she's unavailable, I'm more than happy to trust my my hair to any of the stylists here, they're all fab. An up-beat, freindly place. Drinks and nibbles always on offer. My Labrador gets a warm welcome too.

Hair is fabulous, Val was amazing as he really understood my vision and what i did or did not want. He had amazing attention to detail and the cut and colour was brilliant. There were lots of nice touches with the hairdressing experience such as the massaging chair when you are getting your hair washed and the lollipop with your cup of tea and magazines. The chat was great and they were really friendly. The hair was exactly what i wanted and more i.e back to my natural hair colour with some subtle highlights and a nice cut that wasnt taking away too much of my length. Very happy customer. I've been going here faithfully for over a year! Best Salon experience i've ever had. They'll always offer you drinks & its dog friendly! Plus it doesn't matter what stylist you sit with, you will always look amazing. I went to Hair by JFK recently to have a major hair cut, a complete make-over. It was a big decision and I was a bit anxious about the result. Probably for the first time in a good number of years I left feeling really happy with my haircut, the stylist was really helpful and advised me on a cut which would be easy to style and still match my idea ( I brought lots of pictures with me.). Overall a great experience - I will be coming back!

I've tried a lot of hairdressers in Edinburgh and this is my absolute favourite. I usually get blonde highlights but this time I got my first ever full blonde dye from Kate and I love it. Then my first ever sharp edged bob from Karen. My new look is awesome, thanks ladies! See you soon.
