Did the course few months back with Sophia & Cristian as tutors. They had great patience with the students and fully explained each step of the haircuts . The shop was always busy with clients which let the students cover a variety of styles. I would highly recommend Harlands to anyone considering a career in barbering or looking to upskill. I've been twice for the free haircut with a student. They have very attentive instructors and the students try hard resulting in haircuts that tend to be on par or on one occasion even better than what I got in a normal barbershop.

I went in not knowing it was a school; but, I took the chance and I got my Wedding Hair cut here and let me say it was outstanding. I can not give them higher regards. HIGHLY recommend. The haircut takes a bit more time and it's totally worth it.

Been here twice and twice I’ve left with a really good fade haircut, was a guy called Tracey that done it for me and I could not be happier. One of the best haircuts I’ve had, I’d post the picture but won’t let me do it on reviews but it’s very accurate and you can tell a lot of time and effort has gone into it. I would highly recommend Luke Anthony’s barbering academy I had a great time doing my training & really miss you guys. George & Christian the trainers in Edinburgh are amazing at what they do. If your looking for a refresher course like what I done or fancy a career change & want to become a barber this is the place to go.

I undertook the Elite Barbering course in Edinburgh with Heather and Ross in January and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get on the fast track to learning the basic knowledge and skills required to set you on the road for a career in barbering. Heather and Ross are brilliant barbers and excellent teachers. They are highly skilled and experienced and have an infectious passion for giving the best service they possibly can for their clients which will rub off on you making you want to do your best too. They give unbelievable support and encouragement when you think you might be getting out of your comfort zone and will push you through and you'll surprise yourself what you're capable of. Not only that, they're both great fun and create an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere for you to learn in. I wish I was still there!

Learned my craft here after undertaking the Elite Intensive Course. I had the best time learning my new skills in cutting, wet shave and waxing. It's an amazingly social and enjoyable environment to be in. Heather was my tutor and is outstanding in her teaching techniques, very approachable and puts you at ease. She's also very encouraging. I'm not on a completely different career path and suits my personality. I would encourage anyone considering this course to go for it , you wont regret it, it opens so many doors.
