Recently moved to the area to finish my last year at uni. Started going here for my regular haircut, the guys are great, very professional and they do an amazing job. Would recommend!

Brilliant barbers. I have been using Zagros since they took over a few years ago, very friendly and welcoming. As for the 1 Star review below I was actually in the shop that day and the guy was out of order. He was being very awkward and basically chasing a free hair cut from what I could make of the situation. The staff never even charged him in the end so that's a lie but they did tell him not to come back again. I would reccomend Zagros to anyone 🙌

I am not one for writing reviews but I have been left shocked by what I have heard today. I can tell you for a fact that these recent 1 star reviews are complete nonsense. I have been a customer at Zagros for many years now and I have never been left disappointed. The owner and main barber Hawre is the most genuine, professional and nicest guy you’ll ever meet and will cut your hair to your specifications while providing an affordable, timely and high quality service. He has expressed these recent negative reviews with sincere disappointment as this is not what has happened. A customer has came in and has had his haircut exactly how he asked for with Hawre advising beforehand that the way the customer was asking for it would not leave his hair faded. After receiving what the customer asked for he was not happy as what he asked for was not how a conventional faded haircut is performed. Hawre let the customer leave without paying due to dissatisfaction and did not force him to pay as this is not the person he is. The timing and nature of the 3 negative reviews suggests that it has been the same person/asking friends to write them out of self inflicted anger and disappointment. You have to visit Zagros barbers and experience Hawre’s bang on service to understand how sincere, hardworking and friendly a guy he is. I 100% highly recommend anyone living within the west end/Maryhill area to get their haircut at Zagros as you will not be disappointed. This is something that I’m sure that almost all his customers will agree on. I will continue to get my haircut by Hawre as he is not only came to be my barber, but had also came to be my friend. Keep up the good work Hawre, you and your customers know how good you are 👍🏻

Been using them pretty much since they opened a few years ago,wouldn't use any other barber now and I've tried them all in the area,always friendly and good prices,other barbers in the area cant touch these guys,best in the west end.👍 Also interesting to note that the negative comments were all posted within the same time frame,almost as if the same person is commenting on different accounts and liking their own comments,if you're going to lie at least be clever about it😉

I was a walk in appointment, the barber was friendly and professional and did a really good job on my cut. No awkward moments, the guy knows just when to hold a conversation and just when to focus on your trim. I'll certainly be back for another cut and I have recommended Zagros to some of my mates at work. Thank you!
