A well presented and pleasant hair salon. I really like the complimentary choice of beverages on offer from the very smart coffee bar. The staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is hurried. The stylists listen to the customers' needs and discuss any hair problems that have been experienced. The cut is all important and all stylists at this salon work to a very high standard. I cannot fault Mark Blake Hair and it is a pleasure to go to this salon.

After being with the same hairdresser for years I was a bit nervous to make a change but I'm so glad I did! I had my hair cut and coloured by Jess and she was amazing; she explained everything to me clearly and in detail and even helped me with some suggestions when I wasn't sure exactly what it was I wanted to do. I'm SO happy with the way my hair turned out! The service was amazing and all of the staff were super friendly; the salon was beautiful and super clean. If I could I'd give them 6 stars :D

A visit to Mark Blake is just something else - as soon as you walk through the door you are offered complimentary drinks and nibbles. Prices are a little steeper than most other salons but the results are miles better. My ash blonde colour lasts ages - I have been having my colour done by Issy and she's amazing! Don't be put off because the salon seems really high end, the staff are all really lovely and chatty. Online booking system is great too

Had a great experience here getting a perm and cut, everyone was professional and kind. The cut was exactly what I had in mind and they took into account the condition of my hair while doing the perm. Definitely worth the price. However, the stylist seemed inexperienced in handling curly hair and brushed it after washing it, leaving me looking a bit flat and frizzy.

Went in yesterday for a colour, cut and finish with the amazing Jade Benson who gave me a complete do over and I LOVE IT🥰🥰 I've been going to the salon for 10 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I always get a great hair cut here! The staff are highly skilled and lovely. The complimentary drinks (and sometimes other treats!) are definitely a bonus! You may pay a bit more than some places, but it's worth it. A very professional, top quality hairdressers.

Going to Mark Blake is such a fantastic experience. It really feels like a personal treat every single time I go. The staff are really friendly, welcoming and go that extra mile to make your experience special. All the salons are exquisitely designed and create a beautiful and relaxing environment. They offer complementary drinks (lovely cocktails and gorgeous coffee on offer amongst other refreshments), nibbles and WiFi. But the most important thing obviously is the sheer quality of their services. The colourists are absolutely brilliant and they use only the best colouring methods and products. They take time to really consult with you about your desired look and make sure to advise you on what will really suit you! The cutting and styling couldn’t be of a higher standard and I am delighted with the results every time. Mark Blake, a top trichologist now in the UK, is not only a talented hairdresser but is a genuinely caring and committed local business owner who continues to pay as much attention to the little things as to the major aspects of his business. I cannot recommend Mark Blake highly enough. If you haven’t been yet get booked in - you won’t be disappointed. P.S. The salons feel so safe - all staff wear PPE and have stylish screens up, spaced out workstations and a brilliant entry procedure that makes you feel safe and at ease.

At 8 and a half months pregnant I was feeling incredibly frumpy and fed up. I'd had my hair cut when I was half way pregnant to try and get rid of the huge amount of hair I'd acquired, however where I usually went left me with that "I can't see what difference you've made" feeling. The staff always seemed a little lack lustre and I didn't fancy going back. So I did my research and came across the Mark Blake in Gloucester. As soon as I stepped in I felt comfortable, if a little jealous everyone looked far less frumpy than me! Jess came and greeted me. Listened to what I wanted and understood that I needed my hair tamed and manageable for the foreseeable future. Conversation wasn't forced. The salon was super busy. Nothing was too much effort. I left feeling like me again with my hair feeling is much better condition. Thank you so much.

Brilliant hair salon, more expensive than others but honestly believe you get what you pay for- have always left 100% happy with what they have done and have never felt that way at other hairdressers. I couldn't fault Will, who did my hair but I had booked my daughter for a cut and blow dry at the same time and her hair looked no different! A trim but lacking in a proper blow dry. I personally would not allow anyone to leave the salon with hair looking so terrible. For this reason I would recommend my stylist but not the salon.

I travel from Cheltenham to Cirencester to see Mathew. He has looked after my hair for the last 8 years - I wouldn’t let anyone else do my hair now! The salon is very warm and welcoming, and all the staff look after you. The recent improvements made to the salon are great, and make for and even better visit.

Looks fab ,can't wait to book in ,in January for a hair cut ,looking forward to it 😁I've heard lots of good things 😊 x

The haircut was OK, the coffee was good. When I came to pay however it was £30 and for that it was nothing more than a rush job! I was only in there 20 minutes and that is not long enough to get the pique holiday cut you are lookong for. The next customer was waiting and I fealt rushed to say the least. I only value my experience at £15.

Brilliant salon and service, had a wash and cut with naomi and its the best cut ive had for years. As soon as you go in you step into a 5 star quality salon and get offered a drink and nibbles, everyone was professional and ill deffinatly be back for colouring
