Who had the reputation for a no nonsense short back and sides... and invented the term you have been "Gussed" its a lovely through back gentlemans barboir with proeprchairs and an old fashioned quant waiting room that has a family appeal and where good chat about pop music and football and guy stuff is always entertianing and part of the service . Good prices solid totally relialble friendly service... its actually something money cannot buy... The Fox's is a generational family business and it shows..... Lucky to have them in Hucclecote...... again just something that makes Hucclecote a special place to live ..... esp if you think the only way to be throughly modern is by being throughly oldfashioned as well. Paul Fox is a old school entertaining bright pleasant dude and has character like his shop and like his Dad before him.Those seats have had some fun conversations over the decades i can tell you. It more of a lifestyle choice and service for me to have a good chat as part of the experience which again is just old fashioend and like it used to be. It might not be everyens cup of tea but it's still special. .... and a local tradition and much loved barbours with a history. Always a pleasure to go in and come out after a fresh cut. it's more than a good haircut this place.
