Found a new gents hairdresser today . What an experience. I am very fussy where I go and called Malcolm to make an appointment. I believe my hair is quite difficult to cut and he told me I have a triple crown and explained what needed doing then went to work with a razor before using scissors . Explaining what he was doing all the way through. He has almost 50 years of cutting mens hair and it really shows , not like a lot of these popping up that can’t use scissors. I will be returning in about 6 weeks Malcolm and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else it was an experience and a great haircut. Thank you.

Truly unique, fairly certain you cannot get the same care and techniques anywhere else in Leeds. Malcolm is a passionate professional that wants you to be pleased with the work, this is not a quick clippers in and out shop. It's worth it for the razor cut he uses alone which provides you a much thicker texture to your hair even if it is naturally fine. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for the past 2+ years and can honestly say he is the best guy in town. He genuinely cares about how your hair is cut and shapes everything bespoke to you as an individual. He truely has a passion for styling and has ultimately mastered his craft. I love coming here and look forward to every visit, I know I will walk away looking fresher than anywhere else. Malcolm has been cutting my hair for the last 7 years. Yesterday was my first time back in his shop since Covid began. I booked an appointment over the phone. Upon arrival, he took my temperature and asked me to sanitise my hands. The haircut gown was disposable and had not been used by anyone else and Malcolm himself wore a face mask and a protective shield the entire time. He also took my details for test/trace. I wasn't expecting half of these measures -- I felt completely safe in his shop and will resume my monthly cuts from this expert barber and banterer without hesitation. He is easily the best barber in Leeds.

Walked in this morning didn't have to wait long at all, first time getting my hair cut with traditional razor by Malcom ,big difference in skill as he has 40 years experience very polite and explained exactly what he was going to do price was 21£ for wash cut and product applied. Would definitely recommend as this hair cutting method is quite rare.

In the past I have got bored with hairdressers but I must have been using Malcolm for 6 years and would not go anywhere else. Possibly the best barber in Leeds. Not many barbers are able to razor cut your hair, the owner here can. Clearly this is a shop ran by a man with very high standards and a passion for cutting hair. If you are so inclined, you will learn about hair and cutting it from this man. By extension, I would trust anyone he chooses to employ. This guy has done over 350,000 haircuts by my calculation..

If you want a quality haircut, this barber is a must! The owner knew he wanted to be a barber since he was a child and has been cutting hair since the age of nine. His experience definitely shows! The haircut itself is quite a spectacle - this barber can cut hair with his blade with incredible speed and precision! It costs £16 for a haircut, and £18 for a haircut and shampoo (but don't be surprised if the owner gives you a complimentary shampoo anyways).

In passing, I noticed the barber's poll and just walked in. I received prompt, outstanding service by a highly skilled and experienced stylist at an excellent price. I was so pleased, I've been a regular at this little gem ever since. Really flexible opening hours means I can always get a cut when I need it. Strongly recommend.

I've been going to Malcolm since I moved to Leeds 5 years ago, always get an excellent service and put the world to rights. Top bloke, knows his stuff and is always welcoming. I think some of the one star reviewers need to grow a thicker skin and learn how to have a bit of banter, also need to make sure they ask for what they want, barbers aren't mind readers!

I have to admit, it's not as glamorous as some of the hipster barbers I'm Leeds, there's no sky sports, no pool table, no free beer, but if you want your hair cutting properly you need to go here. I am extremely fussy when it comes to my hair these days, being a gent current going through the joys of male pattern balding you want someone who has knowledge of this, Malcolm knows what he's doing.

Amazing cut! Was in Leeds for the weekend visiting my girlfriend and was in desperate need of a trim. Discovered this little gem and received a bespoke hand razor hair cut. Definitely will be coming back here when I’m next up north!

This guy is a magician! I went once as I was passing, he told me my hair had been cut wrongly for the past 10 years and the that was the reason I was getting a bald patch. He told me within 6 cuts it would be gone, I didn't believe him but I still went. He even gave me my Wedding haircut free of charge :) 12 months on, the bald patch has gone, cannot recommend this guy enough!!!
