Been coming to DJ’s Groom Room for the past couple of months. Jay the barber is very professional and knows how to do a fresh fade. Nothing is a problem for him. His attention to detail is unmatched. Highly recommend

Wonderful family run hair salon in heart of city centre. Well run clean, modern shopfloor and friendly helpful staff. Never been dissapointed with a cut or colour here, been coming several years. I always leave the salon with exactly what I've asked for, and my hair isn't the easiest to dye! Also very good with children, especially wiggly ones! Definitely make time for a cheeky tan on the sun bed too.

I had booked this through groupon, and was apprehensive as I had never had a massage before. However, this place made me feel so at ease! The staff were so welcoming upon arrival and I was shown up to a nice quiet room upstairs from the busy hair salon below. I had Millie for my massage and felt so comfortable around her, she explained everything clearly, ensuring that I got the most out of my experience. The half an hour was such a good amount of time too! I left feeling very relaxed, will be back again for sure.

Good Morning! Just to say this barber shop is amazing! They have taken on an apprentice recently and I can’t fault his eagerness, keen to lean, professional and drive to be a successful barber. He has a great team around him in supporting him to ensure a great and professional haircut / beard has been completed before the customer leaves the premises. I have attached my beard photos, my hair grows back fast but you can still see the cool Hairline despite grown hair around it, which is why I took a photo now. I would highly suggest you request this guy to cut your hair and they’ll charge you apprenticeship rates. Thanks once again, your all amazing Tim (deaf, Dumb and blind guy)

I had the gel manicure and pedicure done today and my nails look absolutely gorgeous! Easy booking and quick availability (best scenario for a toddler's mum!). Samantha was very professional and friendly and made sure i got exactly what i wanted and she put an extra touch to make it look even nicer! Since I found this place I've never gone to another barber. The quality is top notch. The atmosphere is friendly. The prices are affordable. I've never been dissapointed with a haircut from this place, they totally get what I'm going for when I ask. They just treat your right. Also the music and banter is top notch.

Just took my 8 year old daughter to have her haircut here. We have never been before but the service and friendliness of the staff was fantastic. Our daughter struggles with social situations and having haircuts can be uncomfortable for her but they were fantastic with her and she left with the cutest haircut at a great price. Thank you

After getting my hair cut at home for years I was bouncing around different hairdressers trying to find a place I felt comfortable. DJ and Pete are great lads and very talented at what they do. Prices are a little higher than others in Leicester but it's worth it. Also they have a cute dog that walks around.

He knows exactly how I like my hair cut and takes his time in getting it just right - everytime I come back in 4-5 weeks he remembers the style. Even my wife complement that it's the best hair cut I've had! Recommend making a booking as they do get busy

I love coming here for a haircut. DJ is great and remembers what I want doing. The rest of the staff there are also very helpful and welcoming. I love it's location next to cafes and other shops. I would go more often if I could.

Its quite simple - if you decide to use this Salon, be prepared to receive the best treatment ever. You will always be greeted with a warm smile and complimentary drink. The salon is run by Sandra - an award winning Salonist who will not let you leave untill your hair is looking its best. She will always give you the best advice for your hair and will help to maintain it too. Then there is DJ, the barber, who will go the extra mile always to make sure that all you fellas are looking handsome as ever. He always makes an effort to conversate with you and will always engage in funny banter. Makes the cut twice as enjoyable. All the staff are great! Highley recommended! Cheers, Vikesh
