Artelier is the best hair salon I have ever been to! The service is excellent, all the staff are so friendly and professional, the shop is always kept clean and the products they use are brilliant. After years of trying out different hairdressers and not being able to settle on one I loved, I came across Artelier. From day one to many years later, there has never been one appointment that I haven’t left feeling pampered and special. Chelsea has been my stylist for over four years, she is not only the loveliest person but she is so talented and I can always trust that however I ask her to do my hair it will look perfect when she’s finished with it. I also enjoy the glass of Prosecco or gin while getting looked after. Thank you to everyone involved, I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I booked an appointment at Artlier for a cut and blow dry. Before even attending Artlier Formby, I was impressed that the receptionist Johnny rang me to let me know the hairstylist was running behind so I could leave my house 15 to 20 minutes late to avoid a prolonged wait. This is the first time a salon has been thoughtful enough to notify me they were running behind, and I have attended numerous salons. As I have health problems, I really appreciated the heads up. Once I arrived, I was treated courteously and professionally by every member of staff involved in my visit. I enjoyed the reclining massage chair during the shampoo as well as the scalp massage by the kind apprentice? My stylist Georgie was kind and attentive to my needs and kindly rang a taxi for me when my appointment was done. I will gladly book again with Artlier for my next hair appointment and highly recommend this salon.

Artelier Formby is without doubt THE best hairdressing salon I have ever been to. I have always struggled to find a hairdresser that understands me and how my hair behaves and as such over the years have let my hair grow and do it’s own thing. Then I found Emma and my (hair) life changed forever! She is without doubt the best hair artist who always goes the extra mile to make sure you feel utterly amazing when you leave the salon! She is amazing at bobs and longer styles (and everything in between) gives the best advice for colour and is without question one of the nicest, most genuinely down to other person I know. I (and always will) highly recommend Artelier to all my friends and family (and strangers!) - Andrew and Emma and their entire team of amazing hair stylists are the best in the business! I have had my hair coloured by different colour experts within the team who have all been amazing and lovely and I have had my colour ranging from a simple refresh through to some fabulous crazy colours! Highly recommend! You don’t need to look any further than the amazing Artelier! Thank you Emma, Andrew and team!!

I first went to Artelier about in June of 2019. Going from long hair to a shoulder length undercut was a big change in style for my self at the time. We've tweaked the style over time but I couldn't be happier. Many places are uncomfortable with long men's styles so I've since come to deeply trust Andrew and his team due to their skill and talent. They always listen and adapt to what I want. They're also very happy to try something different. I moved out of the area at the start of the year but still travel back regularly to get my haircut here. Even after covid and being allowed to reopen I feel safe due to the measures they put in place. The entire team makes you feel like you matter. Even when it's insanely busy, they take their time and do things properly. I cannot possibly review them highly enough. It'd be a 6/5 if it were possible.

Hands down one of the best hairdressers I’ve ever been too; I travel from Liverpool for my cuts and I’ve never been disappointed. You are always greeted with a smile, a wonderful selection of drinks, a heavenly hair wash and super skilled stylists who give great advice. I love the value the owners of Artelier put on continued training/personal development of their staff - it really shows. AND as an added bonus their online booking system makes booking/changing appointments so easy. Couldn’t recommend Artelier (and my stylist Emma) more!

Emma at Artelier has done my hair since the salon opened. She, Andrew and their team are amazing. I have finest of fine hair and Emma has worked miracles! Two years ago I finally had extensions fitted. I realise there are far more important things, especially at the moment, however to wake up every morning and have a ‘good hair day’ every day, really cheers you up. I had always been worried extensions would damage my hair but after 5 long weeks without them earlier this year, I’m reassured they didn’t. Now that my extensions are back in, life is easier. I can’t recommend this salon enough. I love spending time in there and the staff are all so friendly and lovely. I’ll be the first to book in to have my colour done when the lockdown is lifted. Xx

I've been here three times now, and have held off leaving a review because I wasn't sure anywhere could be as consistently brilliant- but it always is! The salon itself is bright, clean, light and welcoming. The staff are all fabulous and you get the feeling they're a real team, not just a bunch of people who work together. On arrival, you're greeted with a drinks menu and ushered to your seat, before heading to a hair wash from a massage chair. The most chilled out, relaxed moments of my week was the time I spent in the massage chair, having a hair wash and scalp massage from Hannah, who is just marvellous. My hair was cut by Emma, who is talented, professional and warm. She really listens to what is important to me and my usual routine, and gives advice about what would or wouldn't suit me. I love my hair cut, and have already used the easy online booking system for my next appointment. Thank you Emma, Hannah and team x

I’ve been going to Emma now for two years. During this time my hair has been transformed into the hair I used to dream about and thought I never could have. Emma fits me with great lengths extensions but no one ever knows...I just get lots of compliments. All the team are fantastic, it’s a warm friendly and fun atmosphere. Plus if you fancy a tipple there’s always a Prosecco or coffee on offer. ❤️❤️❤️

Emma, Andrew and their beautiful team make the whole Artelier experience from start to finish. I'm now on my 5th set of Great Lengths extensions having not looked back since my first set - not only are they easy to maintain, they look and move like your own hair - people don't even realise I have them in. My hair is in the best condition it ever has been and is finally growing again. I cannot recommend the whole Artelier team highly enough. Thank you to you all!

Colour alway good, best for Rapture hair extensions. All fabulous but I especially love Shannon or Emma for extensions, Chelsea for colour and waves by Hannah!

I can't recommend this place enough. I was apprehensive going to a new hair dressers, I have pretty long hair and I'm always scared they'll cut it too short. My stylist was Andrew, who listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. My hair still looks fantastic even after sleeping on it and a day of work (it's usually a straggly mess by now). All the staff were really friendly. I will definitely be returning.

After years of trying out different hairdressers and not being happy with the cut or hair colour , I was told to try Artelier by a friend and i have never been anywhere else since, Emma is the best, I am always happy with my colour and cut and have changed my products to davines which are all really good love the hair masks my hair is in much better condition all the staff are so friendly and professional, the shop is always kept clean and feel saver going to get my hair done than shopping

I am not one who particularly enjoys trips to the hairdressers but Holy Moly this is no ordinary hairdressers!! To be presented with a drinks menu when you arrive....hang on this is a hairdressers right????? No crappy cheap coffee that tastes like tar here, says she sipping on her green tea when the most amazing looking G&T is served to the lady next to me. Then comes the head massage which made the hairs on my arms stand on end!! Then a hairdresser that actually listened and got what I wanted, spent time making sure he understood and worked magic!! Thank you Andrew, Em and team for simply THE best hairdressing experience I have ever had. I shan't be going anywhere else from now on. I literally cannot fault this place and wish I could give it more than 5 stars. 💚

I took my wife on the 17th September 2018 ,to use a hair voucher we had given to us ,as she's been very poorly and its been touch and go, so a friend thought she needed a boost to try and give a uplift, well she was looked after by Shannon the shop manager and the rest of the staff on and off, and they did just what was needed the WOW factor , she was treated with so much care and was looked after so well ,she did not really want to leave, she felt so good and still dose , so keep up the great work and don't change a thing, as its hard to beat perfect but this hairdresser's can, thanks so much, she will be back before Christmas or earlier if I can get her there,.
