I have been going to Aglaea Hair for few years. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else to get my hair done. Chetna and her team are true professionals. Chetna provides an in depth consultation at the start of each visit, and gives information at each step. One of the best things is the analysis of the individuals hair and best way to proceed to maximise the finished look. Which is always stylish and very polished. The environment is is very comfortable and relaxed. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this salon .

I was recommended to see Chetna having had several previous hair disasters! I won’t go anywhere else now (even though I now live in Brighton) having booked all my appointments with her over the last five years. Chetna and her colleagues have always taken much care over cutting, colouring and drying my hair. The customer service is excellent. They never rush what needs to be done and they always offer a consultation and give good advice on the best cut and treatment. I have recommended Aglaea to several friends who have also been really pleased with their hair and the service.

My second visit to Aglaea yesterday and as happy or even more with the result of the colour! My hair is naturally very dark brown & I now have a lovely sun kissed blonde/brown balayage 😊! Chetna is a lovely, professional lady who takes her time on your hair and listens to your preferences. Chetna’s assistant is friendly & gives a great head massage.

I couldn't recommend Chetna and her team at Aglaea Hair more highly. I first went to the salon a few days after it opened (almost 4 years ago) and have been a loyal customer since. The staff are so wonderfully friendly and talented and I've never been as happy with my hair highlights as I have been there! I always look forward to my appointments there!

Aglaea is a wonderful hair salon! I immediately felt very welcomed and comfortable in Chetna's salon. Everyone working in the salon is very polite and friendly. Chetna takes the time to discuss styles with you and always has honest and good advice. I have gone to Chetna multiple times and have left very happy with both my color and cut. She has an eye for color and truly knows what she is doing. I've recommended the salon to my friend and we have both become regulars!

Chetna has been colouring and styling my hair since 2013, and most recently has been cutting my partners hair since I converted him from queuing in random barber shops. I now travel from outer London to see Chetna on a regular basis as she always knows what my hair needs in terms of treatment, what colours/ styles look best and how to create something unique on each visit. The recent balayage colour was quite honestly the best style change I have had. This customer service is of high quality at Aglaea - very accommodating, friendly, professional, relaxing environment. Highly recommended!

Chetna is so friendly and the salon has a lovely atmosphere. She fixed a bad bob haircut I had in 2015. I recently went to Aglaea again to have my hair colour fixed. My hair was a disaster. Chetna listened to me and created a bespoke hair colour. I have a lovely balayage hair now. She truly transformed my hair. I also had a smart bond treatment that really helped improve my hair. She is so talented and love what she does. I'm very pleased and not going anywhere else! xx

This place! What makes Aglaea salon stand out is the attention to detail and consideration that Chetna, the colour specialist, gives. Chetna has been colouring and cutting my hair for the past two years, giving me a gorgeous and natural balayage/ombré with long layers. Before my first colour appointment I was a little nervous, as I expect most are when they are trying a new salon... but after 5 minutes I was put to ease as it was clear that everything Chetna does is expertly intentional. Every single time I see her, I feel as though I am completely involved in each step of the process as she informs me of what she is doing and why - and making 100% sure she is doing things the way I prefer. I’m sure I’m not the most exciting client as I tend to keep the same hairstyle and prefer a more natural colour service, but she gives the same care and diligence each time all the same. If you want the most considerate, creative, and detailed-oriented colour specialist - you’ve found the place!

Now that I have my hair done here I would not consider going anywhere else. Chetna is simply excellent! She advises you correctly and I am always happy with the colour afterwards. She has a great eye for what suits! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you comfortable. I take my toddler here too and he loves getting his haircut now.

I have been going to Aglae for 5 years and Chetna is the best hair stylist I have ever known. She is super attentive and always comes up with interesting, creative ideas for colour and haircut. I've been going to Chetna at Aglaea for a number of years. She is a skilful hairdresser, who listens to what I want and explains what she is going to do. She is also really lovely - her and Maria are both great. When I first started going to Chetna several years ago my hair was quite damaged (I colour it and was using straightners every day), she has shown me how to blow dry my hair more effectively to avoid the need for straighteners (although sometimes I still grab them for ease!) and has suggest (but never pushed) products and treatments to help - my hair is now in great condition - no more fly away fluffies! The salon has recently moved just up from Clapham Junction on St John's Hill and is inside a sun bed place - so make sure you check where you are going the first time you go - their counter is the back counter when you walk in.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else now that I have discovered Aglaea! Despite the fact that I now live outside of London, I still travel in for appointments as I really trust Chetna with my hair. Chetna is an amazingly skilled colourist and stylist. Unlike at other salons, where I feel people often get frustrated if you are not very eloquent at expressing exactly what you hope to achieve, she listens very patiently, helps to provide clarity and then delivers amazing results. The colour she creates always looks so natural and lasts really well, and her cutting skills are also second to none. She takes time and care in creating exactly what you want. She is also totally fabulous at blowdries in a variety of styles, which always last for days. I first discovered Chetna through a friend of mine who always has gorgeous hair, and I’ve had so many compliments since seeing her. On top of all that, she is absolutely lovely and appointments are a pleasure. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chetna and the team always get EXACTLY what I want, which has been hard to find over the years! They are so lovely there too - always lots of laughs and lovely conversation. This place is really a BIG surprise in an absolutely positive way. I had trouble with my color since 2 stylists from different salons couldn‘t get my blond ashy, but almost yellow/orange. In this Salon, there were color tests made during the consultation with my own hair. The owner took so much time for me and seemed to be very perfectionist about everything she was doing. Then they started and seemed to take care of every wisp of hair since she thought it is important to be slightly lighter around the face to get the right effect. I felt the owner and the team were very very professional and I was incredibly happy with the result. Never go elsewhere again! 👌👌👌

Aglaea hair and beauty ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such an amazing experience at Aglaea's. I completely messed up my hair with a home dye kit. Chetna and her apprentice Maria were amazing. I had been turned away from another salon that day, saying the job was too big and the initial result would not turn out well. But when I went in to Aglae's Chetna sat me down and talked me through all the different options, hair colours and colour correction methods she could do. I felt so at ease and looked after the whole time, which was perfect because I was so upset about the terrible colour I managed to dye my hair at home. Would throughly recommend, and I will defiantly be going back when ever I am in London.
