Recently moved to Old St and was looking for an affordable, friendly, local barber. I found exactly what I was looking for! Joy was amazing, looked at a picture of what I wanted, instantly identified the length, and got to work. She was friendly and shared stories of her time in New Zealand. Was cool experience, definitely going back soon 😊

Forget the Turkish, their mono cut training (I’ve tried four around old street) and give BV a try, you probably won’t be disappointed. Haven’t even tried to find another place since then. Oh and it’s not expensive at all.

I came in and asked for a small trim and layers done. The lady who cut my hair went above and beyond providing an excellent service. Nice touches like providing me an umbrella whilst I went to the cash point topped off the service. Would definitely go again for a cut.

Absolutely amazing barber, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Obviously special shoutout to Anna who knows how to make the perfect fade and is also one of the funniest person I know!! Love the old school decor (especially the old cash register!) and the green leafs at the entrance, just adds to the peacefulness of the place

Friendly walk-in barbers at a reasonable price, £18 when I last went. First time I went the haircut wasn't exactly how I wanted it but was still ok. Next time I took more time to explain and got exactly what I wanted. I will be going back.

No wiping my face with warm/cold towel? Or tissues after spraying it with water? I thought these services are complimentary after haircut to send a customer looking shiny after s/he is done. And they don't accept cards.

Called in whilst between meetings in the area. Good, quick haircut at reasonable price for Old Street. Polite staff, French lady cut my hair. Finished off neatly with eye brow trim and choice of products for hair. Would be happy go again.

This barbers was great when An Italian barber called Madonna was there very good at what she does, cut my hair perfectly to how I wanted, went back and she no longer works there unfortunately :( had a cut from another woman and it wasn't near the same standard! Will not be going back now unfortunately !

Very happy with my visit today - friendly atmosphere, nice surroundings, wash and cut for around £18. Great results and they made sure they were getting it how I wanted it. Local competition is either down-the-pub blokey or rip-off hipster and this is neither so will definitely be going back.

Hairdressers in the sweet spot somewhere between a cheap/nerve-wracking barber cut and an expensive salon cut are sadly rare in London. Therefore, I'm definitely pleased to see this place open up near Old Street - a professional cut by a friendly person in a nice environment...for £15. I tried it for the first time today and am happy to recommend that you do too!
