Can not fault the skills of its staff or products they are just excellent. However over the last couple of years I have been priced out I live 2 mins away and can no longer afford them they charge you £14 to leave with wet hair they no longer take cash even though it's king and you will be charged if you forget to cancel with out notice fine the whole fee though. Looks like there catering to the gentrified community.

I got a curly haircut with Andrea. I asked for it to be made shorter (above the shoulders) with layers and a fringe so it was quite a change! I got exactly what I asked for and it looks great. I went to see Vanessa at the Brixton Bluetit today and came out with an amazing cut and finish. Vanessa listened carefully to what I wanted and gave really brilliant advice on how to get a cut that will suit my post-covid hair (I had it in March - some of my hair fell out & it all totally changed texture). I was not sure what to go for so very much relied on Vanessa's guidance and I am really glad that I did - I've come out so happy with my hair! Vanessa was really easy to talk to and I just had an overall really relaxing experience. There were lots of safety measures in place but it still had a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Sam is the most amazing master of hair colouring and cutting. I've been to him for years, but this is the first time we did colour and I could not be more delighted with it. It was a big change. Just had my fourth visit to BlueTit this evening and it was great as usual! About a year ago I saw Ricky for colour and although it was great I don’t think I had explained clearly about the colour I’d wanted and I wasn’t 100% happy the next day and when I called about this (expecting a ‘sorry not our problem’) Ricky came to the phone and was so lovely and booked me in for another colour appointment free of charge to get it just right. I have seen Ricky twice since for colour and for cuts and both times he’s been so lovely and done a brilliant job. He’s knowledgeable about how hair works and great at working with your particular hair to help you get the look you want. I’ve also seen Jake for a cut and he was totally brilliant as well. I think they’re both fab (cut&colour) All the staff are so lovely. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed (including a glass of wine should you want one ! ) & the app is brilliant for making appointments. Plus they have late opening hours. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best haircut I've ever had. i had my hair cut by Hettie and even though I didn't give her a massively detailed description of what I wanted my hair to look like, she totally nailed it. The salon is huge, much bigger than I initially thought and really relaxing. There was no overselling on any extra services or products. If you're anything like me and feel awkward saying no to things, then you know that you'll end up paying for way more than what you initially thought you'd pay. It is a really nice salon with a very cosy atmosphere, Gustavo was very professional and experienced, especially with my type of hair (very curly). Compared to a lot of different places I have been too, the treatment was very efficient and looks like it will last for a while, also because they seem to use the right product. Loved this salon, deco, vibe and the service was exactly what you pay for. Was even offered a bloody mary. I went for a cut by Angelica who I picked up blindly as I never been there before and she did an amazing job. She has really listened to me and really understand what I had in mind but executed it in the way that is suitable for my hair not just blindly followed what I said. I have quite a thin hair so it really shows hairdresser's skills to cut it right. Angelica was VERY thorough although I was anxious she was trying to serve 2 ppl at the same time (she had another client in for a colour) she made me feel priority and spent as much time with me as needed so she seemed well organised. I am positive I will return.

I had my hair done by Orshi and I felt in really safe hands. She made me feel very comfortable and she clearly knew a lot about colour and bleach and helped me think about my options. I decided to go blonde and was so happy with the results. Although I had a variety of different tones in my hair from previous colours/highlights Orshi managed to get a very consistent, natural and beautiful colour. Orshi was also sensitive to my desire to ensure my hair remained healthy and undamaged and talked me through good after care and treatments and used the lightest possible bleach. I came in a brunet with damaged hair and left with a great choppy blonde look. I still felt feminine (which I asked for) but with an easy style that still looks good a month later and has been easy to maintain and care for. My hair feels healthy and is not frizzy or dry. The price was a lot for me but worth every penny.

I had flamboyage and a cut at Bluetit Brixton this afternoon and couldn't be more pleased with the result. Robbie and Josh were both fantastic - really accommodating, good at explaining what they were doing and super friendly. Best salon experience in a long time - I would definitely recommend!
