Jose did a great job on my hair. Not only did he listen, but he really made an effort to understand what I had in mind. I've got thick hair and because I wash and go I need a cut that looks good without styling. And he nailed it - it's the best haircut I've had in years.

A true hidden gem in central London. I have been coming here for many years and I have never thought about changing. Bravo to the best hairdressers in town!: Jose and Agustin. Any time I leave the salon I feel absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. Whether you are looking for a stunning colour & style, a great haircut and beautiful blow dry don’t look any further. They are the best.

Just had a haircut at CV Hair and Beauty, Gus is an artist, my hair looks beautiful and am very happy with it. I ve been going to this salon for a couple of years now, be it to get long layers, a trim, a colour change or a daring pixie, I have never been disappointed. I always request for Gus but everyone at the salon is excellent, I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else, they really know what they're doing. I highly recommend this salon and all my family and many of friends have started going there.

Best haircut I've had in a long time. Even though the state of my hair was pretty bad, Julia still managed to keep a lot of the length while making it feel healthy again- which is something a lot of places tell me they can't do! Nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff who seem to really value and appreciate their returning customers.

They really care about what you want - long hair? No problem! You won't get scalped! All the staff are friendly and there is a great atmosphere in the salon. They do their very best to fit you in and work around your schedule whenever it's possible. They discuss everything with you even if you are a regular - they never take anything for granted. Great skills and good company and decent prices too. Ian is the best and caters for nervous people (like me) he's great at reading ones body language and put me at ease. Now I have found them I won't go anywhere else.

I have recently visited the salon to get my hair in shape before holiday! My sister recommended me this place and since then I have always been cutting my hair there. I am trying to grow my hair so getting a tiny trim is sometimes boring but Gus manages to transform my dull hair into something very beautiful so I always feel great after visiting the salon. After my long term hairdresser decided to pack up an emigrate earlier this year, I found myself looking for a new one which may seem easy enough in central London, but it is finding someone good that you can trust and in a friendly salon. I was recommended to try CV Hair & Beauty, so booked in with Ian (the owner) for highlights and cut. I have to say was a little nervous as it has been years since I tried anywhere new, however I needn’t have worried, I was made to feel welcome and at ease straight away. After a consultation, Ian sorted out the right colours and got to work. Once finished the assistant washed my hair and then gave me a wonderful Indian head massage, which was soo relaxing I could have fallen asleep! I was really pleased with the finished result, the cut and finish was just as I liked it. Lovely salon, friendly staff, good location, highly recommended. Will definitely be going back!

Gus is a great hairstylist who knows exactly what style you want, and is also a great conversationalist while tending to your hair. I've been visiting this salon for 5 years and have never had a bad haircut or experience. Ian and his team are friendly, welcoming and dam good at their jobs. The difference between this independent salon and cheaper chain salons is this team listen to what you want, offer advice and create somthing for you. You don't get forced to have the only haircut that the hairdresser can do or an inexperienced mess. My hair: indian, thick, frizzy and stubborn. My treatments: highlights, blow dry, short hair and long hair cuts. My fav of team: Ian or the visiting local cat.

I have always been really fussy when it comes to getting my hair done. I have had some god awful experiences so when I was approached some 10 years ago with a 'special offer' voucher to use all the facilities that 'shampoo' had I was a little reluctant. I entered the cosy salon and was welcomed with warm hearts and friendly banter - after a 20minute consultation and reassurance with the blue haired stylist; Jo. I later left with a polished finish and haven't looked back since! A short while later a guy Ian took over and I feared my beloved Jo would not be there for much longer, nor the other stylist I had grown to love. But Ian worked hard to revamped the hairdressers to the glossy 'CV hair and Beauty' salon is it today and still maintain the family atmosphere it's always had. I refuse to go anywhere let anybody touch my hair as nobody understands my hair the way they do at CV and so I happily travel monthly for an hour and a half just to revisit them to get my hair done. 5 stars for everybody at CV Hair and Beauty - keep up the great work!!
