Damien always does an excellent job cutting and styling my thick, very wavy hair. I'd spent literally years trying to find someone who knew how to cut hair with a very uneven curl pattern and couldn't believe my luck when I had my first haircut with Damien: finally, a decent haircut!! He's also a really lovely chap and lots of fun to have a good natter with. Thank you Damien!

I had my second appointment with Shawn today. I had highlights and a cut and blow dry. I have very thick hair so Shawn suggested some light layering to give my hair more bounce. It looks great. I have had several compliments already and the day is not yet over!

Much, much more than a local hairdresser, Damien Martin is at the very top of his profession and I travel up to an hour across London to get to him. On recommendation, Damien has looked after my hair for the last few years and will continue to do so as long as we are both standing. Beginning, he listened to me, talked everything over with deep knowledge and experience, and set to work. The results have been transformative. Never before, I now regularly receive comments such as 'Wow', 'Gosh' and 'Who does your hair?' Not only the cut, that's because he has taught me how to care for it between visits and achieve the desired result on a daily basis. Quite rightly, my times with Damien are also therapeutic, social and highly entertaining. And yes, I do notice the ladies coming and going, and they always look amazing, beaming from cheek to cheek. I could not recommend Damien Martin more highly! An additional comment: Yesterday, having grown out my hair, which is fortunately fast and thick, I said to Damien, 'Let's conjure up the image that I've walked out of 1937 and am about to get sketched by 'Apparel Arts'.' 30 minutes down, a heap of cuttings on the floor, and it's bang on the golden age of Art Deco, Swing and the bias cut. It's timeless, elegant and enduring. I went swimming later on, and it's so easy to fix with a bit of Argan, a blob of fudge and a hairdryer. I'm delighted - and I think Damien is too! I could not recommend Damien Martin more highly.

I went to see Damien on Saturday. I was very nervous to go to my appointment not only because it has been two years since visiting a salon but because I wanted the best for my hair. I did a lot of research about hair salons around this area and he definitely standed out. It was the best experience. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, gave me advice about the best style for my height and face shape and made my hair look absolutely stunning. My hair is now so healthy and looks soo good. Damian is a fantastic hair stylist! This is a real gem of a hair salon in Fulham. Damien has coloured and cut my hair for some time now and I am always so happy with his skill and thoughtfulness. He is very experienced and you know that you are in great hands. He knows exactly the shades I want and the look that I am going for, and then in terms of his cutting, it's impressive to watch him work. Because the salon is small, it's relaxing and calm and you are not passed around from pillar to post. We always have good chats and of course he has the latest magazines to have a flick through as well. There's no need to go to the bigger name salons on Fulham Road if you want a top quality service - this salon provides excellent service for a really decent price.
