You know those shows on tv where the barber knows the whole neighbourhood and has a welcoming feel when you enter. That's this place! Dastan has a great ensemble of hairdressers and barbers. They work together and help each other. It's a fun salon that gives excellent results. You'll enjoy your visit (coffee, wine and beer) while you are getting your hair done. I go out of my way to go to Dastan’s to get my hair coloured. My husband has been visiting for years and is always happy.

It was my first time at Dastan hair salon yesterday and I cannot thank the guys enough for fixing my hair. I rang up last minute on a Sunday desperately looking to fix my orange highlights (I have asian dark hair) and usually you'd need a 48hr patch test beforehand but they still gave me an appointment. The boys gave me an amazing colour correction and an ashy blonde balayage which I've always wanted. They listened to me and explained the process step by step. They ended up staying late past 6pm to finish off my hair which I am extremely thankful for. I was in there for nearly 5 hours and the service is just exceptional. I have attached a before and after photo for reference. I would definitely recommend this salon, I'm so glad I found this place! Will be doing my hair here from now on! I am absolutely in LOVE with my hair! This is the first time ever I have changed my hair completely and I do not regret it at all. Sebastian did a fantastic job throughout the entire process of washing my hair, cutting my hair and colouring it. He is extremely polite and was patient with me for over 4 hours and never made me feel uncomfortable at all. WOW! After years of searching I finally found my hair stylist! I went to this salon for the first time today, as my friend highly recommended it. I finally got ashy highlights, no hint of yellow, exactly what I wanted! NAR did a full hair colour transformation today. My hair was a total mess: dark brown grown out roots, yellow patches after last highlights and chocolate reddish ends. Nar has honestly done magic to my hair, now they look so natural with beautiful even ashy highlights all over my head. Nar, thank you so much for everything you did – you're a truly talented stylist. PS All members of staff are really polite and helpful. I really enjoyed the tea they offered.

We've recently moved to the area and we were looking for a good hair salon. I can confirm we have found the perfect place and we recommend it 200% My husband and I went for a hair cut and styling and we left extremely happy with the service provided by the team. The salon is extremely clean and the team are wearing PPE, complaint with these pandemic times. Adrian looked after my husband and gave him what he (literally) says to be "the best haircut he's ever had in his life". Adrian took his time and treated my husband's hair with care and patience, as he has difficult hair, and left him looking like a model! Lorraine looked after me and made me feel incredibly well cared for, she was very knowledgeable, easygoing and sorted out my fried ends, giving me an iconic 90s bob cut, and leaving me looking sleek and trendy (much, much, much needed). I am sorry I forgot the name of the stylist washing my hair but he was amazing too, as he managed to make me switch off from my busy schedule and I got to relax and enjoy the whole experience. We feel so good that we've switched our trip to the supermarket this evening for a date night out! We highly recommend Dastan Unisex Hair Salon and we'll be coming back for our next trim. They've definitely won 2 new clients.

I visited Dastan already twice since I am aware it exists. I have always been very pleased with their service. The staff is very friendly and professional. I get along with Nar and Sevgi in particular but they are all great. The owner of the shop has always been very nice checking in whether I was happy with their services. Nar is a real hairstylist - he has lots of technical knowledge about the different colour products and he is natural skills of hair cutting. More importantly for me, he always knows and/or quickly understands the results I would like to get. He doesn’t go creating something that I won’t like. He can see my personal style and he uses his skills according to it - for me this is fundamental to build and maintain trust. The salon is always very clean and tidy. There is a particular attention to the layout of the salon - the room where they wash hair is particularly charming. It makes you feeling at a SPA. They are keen to make us feeling comfortable when there. During long services, they offer drinks (compatible to COVID) and their tea is really good. Their booking system is pretty easy - there is an online option to ensure you can see the availability of the various hairstylists. Alternatively you can give them a ring to discuss in more detail. Sevgi is a lovely friendly girl who is more than happy to explain the various services. She has always been very nice with in discussing services, cost and duration. I am glad I have found them - they are absolutely brilliant and I know I can trust them. Very well done to you all!

I was immediately blown away by the friendliness of the staff, made to feel completely at home and at ease. Dastan is honestly the most skilled barber I've ever met. After my first haircut I signed up for the silver subscription membership and I absolutely love it. Unlimited shampoo & haircuts whenever I like (usually with free beer and wine thrown in too). Dastans salon is amazing. I used to get a blow-dry twice a week which cost around £65 but now they offer unlimited shampoo and cut or just blow-dry for £150 a month, I save myself so much by doing this and I sometime now take advantage of my unlimited and go 3-4 times a week. I love this salon staff are amazing expecialy loraine. I highly recommend it.
