Lulu is the best hairdresser I've had in London. She was able to help me get my desired look without damaging my hair. She takes her time and really listens to what you want. My hair looks amazing and she is my go to stylist. I cannot recommend her enough and can't wait to go back!

I went back to Headmasters after a 4 year stint with another stylist in Islington. I’d been going to Shepherds Bush salon for years but had moved to north London. My hair had been badly coloured and became quite damaged so I’d let it go wild and long lockdowns to stop the damage from colouring. Lucrezia at Camden was my first post lockdown hair cut in May 2021 and loved her vibe and her skills with my curly hair. I went back for colouring and toning and then an even shorter style this month. I Love my “back to me” style and Lucrezia’s tips on how to style. She consults well, her friendly and warm customer service is brilliant and the salon is always clean and relaxing when I’ve been. Can’t thank you enough. Thank you Lucrezia and Headmasters.

It was my first time visiting headmasters. It was a very last minute - New Years eve. Walked in & asked the receptionist what I wanted & if it was possible to fit me in last minute. She said if I could have my consultation now & come in an hour booked me in. Lulu was so sweet & helpful- she guided me what colour to achieve my look. Lulu made sure that I was comfortable, she ticked every box you would want when you come to a hair salon. She also took her time to work on my hair & she was very patient. I would very much recommend this place & Lulu was just lovely. Deffo coming back for sure :)

She was very friendly and chatty, I felt very comfortable as if we had been friends for ages. She was also very professional and took the time to hone in on what I specifically wanted. Good salon, lovely staff. Kasia was great and very attentive. She asked me what I wanted and really listened, and the head massage was a nice touch. You should book with Kasia! Highly recommend. The only reason I give 4 stars is because they try very hard to recommend and sell you hair products. Totally ok and I'm sure they're asked to do this by management, but I was slightly put off. Still, come get your hair cut here.

Love this salon, it's my first time going to headmasters in Camden but I will never look back, I came in with scruffy, frizzy, damaged hair and I got a treatment and wash cut and blow dry. I came out feeling like a million dollars, the hairdresser suzana is amazing, friendly, conversation was flowing and explained every part of the treatment to me. The best part was when I asked for a trim she actually gave me a trim, she didn't get too excited like other hairdressers in the past, she actually gave me exactly what I asked for. The blow dry was AMAZING I left the salon with hair full of bounce and looking healthy. I would definitely recommend this salon, especially suzana, who did my hair.

This is one of the best hairdressers I have found in London, and I have tried alot after 10 years! Really talented hair dressers, especially Lulu, she always get the perfect shade of blonde :) ! 100% would recommend , my mum even travels into London to see Lulu, she's that great! Headmasters also offer good discounts and promotions which make the treatments more affordable. During the promotions, quality of the treatments are not compromised and I always get amazing results. If you are looking for calm and trusting hands then this is the place to go.

Had my almost-waist length hair lopped off to donate to Little Princess Trust, chose Headmasters as they were doing a collaboration with Little Princess Trust. Although the haircut was free as I donated more than 12" (in fact, 4 ponytails worth at 12" each) I still felt I was valued the same as if I was a paying customer, and my stylist (Kasia) took great care to ensure that everything was done just right. Never had short hair before, but love the style! Definitely be a returning customer!

Absolutely friendly from the moment I walked in the door, made me feel welcome. Got offered a drink which i took still water only which was ice cold. Kasia came over as i booked online, she introduced her self and listened to how i want my hair cut. While cutting my hair Kasia stopped and asked if it looks good which i said yes. While in the middle i asked about hair products which i got recommended from Suzanna about Tea tree shampoo. I am happy with how all of the staff are polite and go above and beyond to make me feel like i am at home especially on the massage chair when getting my hair washed. I absolutely love this salon! All the staff are friendly and accommodating. I had the most amazing balayage done for my wedding day by Lu Lu. She has been my stylist each time and I highly recommend her. She gives a truly superb service and I totally love my hair...everytime. Thank you so much!!!

I booked in for a balayage and trim; Mia was amazing! I cannot thank her enough. I had a balayage (which was done elsewhere) and my hair had ended up two different colours - Mia managed to correct my colour, redo my balayage and left my hair looking incredible! I can’t fault anything from beginning to end I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you so much Mia! Can’t wait to come back! Just a side note - I’m mixed race with naturally curly hair and was very nervous about whether anyone would be able to do my hair. I always have the best cut and blow dry service, at this hairdressers! My hair always feels soft and silky and so manageable after the cut! I book a great hairdresser called ANGEL, she works at the salon and I always have a very good experience. My hair is long, and quite thick, and Angel knows exactly how to get the best from my hair, she can also do wonders with any type of hair too she is very experienced and always makes me feel at ease. I had been searching for a regular stylist for some time when I ended up in the hands of the very talented Nikhil at Headmasters Camden. Since meeting him I have not bothered going anywhere else! Nikhil is a talented and gracious host and great company during the entire process. Always ready with new ideas and a cup of coffee, I know Nikhil will have me come out looking great and feeling confident. Yesterday I was treated to a new and equally lovely and talented stylist by the name of Yasmin, who have me an excellent cut blow dry. I Highly recommended this salon and both these particular stylists !!

Absolutely brilliant! Had a bit of a hiccup at first - when I first booked my free consultation, I went for the appointment and found that someone had lost the keys or something so the branch couldn't open and they didn't call me back to reschedule my appointment. With that in mind, I was wary when I rebooked my consultation, but my hair was in dire need of some attention, so I went anyway... And I am so glad that I did! My consultation was done with Jude, who was very thorough and honest about what she thought would look best for me, but also listened to what I had to say and what I wanted. No pushing extra services on me, or anything like that - all I got was a very polite, but well-informed recommendation, along with a full quote and a list of promotional discount options I could use for, which the receptionist went through with me at the end. I had the actual appointment today and I am so, so happy! My hair had a lot to be done, and I was seen by Katherine, whilst Jude occasionally guided her; not only one of the best salons I've been to (clean, relaxing, no bitchy/judgemental staff, everyone super friendly and attentive), but also one of the best ever hair treatments, too. My hair is very thick and difficult to deal with and it had undergone a bad bleach job, but I've walked out with it looking exactly as it did before I ever touched it. They also gave me some recommendations for some shampoos and things because of the condition of my scalp; none of which were on their shelves, but really easy, economical options outside of the salon. Cannot sing the praises of this branch enough. tl;dr - Clean, professional, comfortable salon: helpful, friendly staff; excellent value for money; wonderful outcome from services. Particularly if you're looking for guidance on what to do with your hair or how to approach cutting it, this is your place. I won't be going to any other hairdresser's!
