Simply the best in the Highgate / Crouch End area. I have lived in the area for 20 years and used to get my hair cut near my office in the City as I couldn’t get a decent cut in the area. But when these guys opened shop I thought I’d try them out and was immediately convinced. Consistently good, real pros.

I'm a fussy customer and I must've tried about 4/5 different barbers in the N postcode areas before I finally found this place - and stuck with it. The lads are genuinely attentive, easy going, super talented, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. You wont find a better haircut for a better price this side of town.

Walk in only which is great as there is essentially no wait. Second time here - very happy - the hairdresser took his time and did a very good job. 21 pounds for a man's cut which is a good price considering the location and the standard of service. I can definetely recommend

Quite simply one of the best barbers around. Having recently moved to the area, I am delighted to have found this place. Each time I have turned up and they have been able to accommodate me there and then, and each time I have got a great cut. They just seem to know what you want to have cut before you even know, and as others have said, they are masters of their trade! In addition, friendly staff and the offer of a coffee or beer while you get the haircut. This place has been transformed under the new management and might be Highgate’s best kept secret. It’s completely different to what was here before - it’s a proper barbershop giving great cuts - paying lots of attention to detail. They’ve taken a lot of care over the decor and you are offered a coffee/juice/beer while you wait. Prices are competitive and I’ve really loved the haircuts I’ve had since I’ve been coming here. These guys are ambitious, nice, and really know their stuff 👏🏻

The best gents barbers in London! As others have said, new management has transformed this establishment. I regularly have my hair cut and beard trimmed here now, and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else now. Simple things like good taste make all the difference. No matter how busy, they will never rush, or use clippers where it ought to be a scissor cut. Highly recommend.

Just found my new barber. You can get a better cut than Murdock with a quality fade for less than £20. The team took over in April 2019. Free hot/cold/beer drink. Can’t see myself going anywhere else while the quality here is so good - didn’t even have to clean off all the trimmings from my head/face like at most other places!

Today was my 3rd cut at Highgate Barbers. They have a consistently high attention to detail and friendly service, even if you are the last customer of the day there is a personal pride in delivering a satisfied customer. You can get a coffee or beer whilst you wait and the price is excellent value. Whilst the shop is located slightly out of the way and the small frontage is easily missed, it's well worth a visit.

I frequent Spike's every fortnight and have done for a few years. Both Costa and Ardi are friendly and professional. Their work is high quality, but it is very affordable. They take their time and go the extra mile to make sure that you are comfortable and you enjoy the experience. They are capable of cutting hair in a variety of ways and I have always been really happy with results. Great stuff keep up the good work!
