The first time I met Mark I was impressed with his professionalism, ability to build rapport quickly and fantastic barbering skills! Mark is the only person in London who I feel comfortable cutting my hair and I’ve referred all of my friends and colleagues to Mark who also regularly visit Hobbs barbers and share the same views as me. Mark is a great guy and I’m very lucky to have met him! Best barber in London!

N. A.I started coming to Hobbs 5 or 6 years ago when I worked nearby but nowadays I make a special trip into town to have my hair cut here. J. J. (.A Gem in Borough Market and frankly the OG Barber Shop, certainly in my London years. If you only visit one Barber Shop this year, then frankly you need a haircut, I mean it's nearly November, chop chop.. Bad puns aside a fantastic visit. Especially on a Thursday, but do bring cash.

F. U.By far the best haircut I've had in London and all for under £20! I have been coming to Honba for four years, I used to live close, however since moving I travel 45 minutes to get there as it's such a consistently good barbers. The lady Helen is fantastic and friendly, and always up for a chat and a laugh. I have recommended friends and colleagues here who have loved it, it's also perfectly located to go and enjoy some food in Borough Market after your trim.

C. W.Hobbs Barbers has now secured me as a lifetime client. It can be a long and exhausting search to find a quality Barber who can deliver not only that first time in the chair, but also to produce a cut that is even better than imaginable time after time. Its a good old fashioned Barbers that i can remember from been a kid. Small, Quick and astonishingly well priced. There is no need to venture further than London Bridge even though other places offer cold beers, because after fifteen minutes in the chair, I'll just nip around the corner to the pub.

Quite a small shop so there can be a slight wait but it's worth it. Best time to get down is around 4PM, opens later mondays/ tuesdays. Pictures of James Dean in the window had me sold.

A small but lively barbershop run by the friendly hairdressers Ian and Wayne, offering both traditional and fashionable cuts and beard trims. No appointment necessary: just walk in, sit in the traditional waiting room in the station area and watch passers-by in the heart of the market.
By the way, the waiting room is in front of the door and protected from the sun or rain by a bridge. Small gag on the side, a chair should be left free for the hop-on hop-off tourists - of course only for a souvenir photo. But as the saying goes: Swing or die. The idea is simple but great.

Ein kleiner, aber lebhafter Barbershop, der von den freundlichen Friseuren Ian und Wayne geführt wird und sowohl traditionelle als auch modische Schnitte sowie Bartborte anbietet. Keine Verabredung notwendig: einfach hineinspazieren, im traditionellen Warteraum im Bahnhofsbereich sitzen und Passanten im Herzen des Marktes beobachten.
Übrigens das Wartezimmer ist vor der Tür und von einer Brücke gegen Sonne oder Regen geschützt. Kleiner Gag am Rande, ein Stuhl sollte für die Hop-on Hop-off Touris frei bleiben - natürlich nur für ein Erinnerungsfoto. Aber wie heißt es so schön: Wirb oder stirb. Die Idee ist einfach aber klasse.
