He did such a lovely job and was very easy to talk to - I had a very vague idea of what I wanted and he knew exactly what to do and gave me lots of tips etc for styling & looking after my hair. Came here with a salon invitation and had my hair cut by the lovely Jaqueline! She gave me a scalp massage and I felt really pampered throughout the whole appointment. She explained why my hair were breaking so much, she suggested treatment and I left happy. I haven't cut my hair in almost 10 years because of how expensive London' salons are, but I think I will come back here for my future trims!

Really friendly and skilled staff. Took my mum there for a birthday treat to have her nails, makeup and hair done. We got tea and biscuits whilst she was having her nails and hair done which was a nice touch. The lady did a fabulous job on her nails, the guy also did a nice job on her hair and make-up, although she wasn't too keen on the blunt fringe he gave her that she stated beforehand she didn't want, but she still looked lovely anyway.

Second visit: 4th May 2021: A massive thank you to Karine for the high standard of care both I as a customer and indeed my hair received yesterday on my complementary return visit to the salon. The consultation ensured we were both on the same page. A conditioning treatment was applied to restore my locks to a veritable state of glory and I am delighted with both the cut, colour and aftercare service and advice. Based on the service I received today, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Karine and the salon to anyone. It was a superb experience! I stepped out of the salon feeling fabulous! First visit: 21st April 2021: It is extremely rare for me to feel compelled to write a negative review for anything, but my experience of this salon was awful. I left almost in tears, with hair looking nothing like I'd asked for, despite a consultation over Zoom prior to the appointment. I was made to feel like the whole debacle was my fault. And this is on top of the fact the entire experience was supposed to be a special treat to myself. The cost would usually prohibit my visiting a high-end London salon, but I haven't had my hair cut in months and I’ve been very unwell recently, so had decided to splash out and had been saving up for it. As my appointment began, I was told that the colour I’d asked for wouldn’t be achievable as the colour palette at the salon was apparently not sufficiently broad to achieve the look I wanted. It was also suggested that I should have booked a longer appointment to achieve it. This appeared to be my fault, in spite of the consultation months beforehand when he told me it was achievable. Surely the consultation was the time to explain that they did not have the colour or that it would take longer to achieve the look. Now I was in the salon, he gave me two choices. I could either go for a far brighter colour than I had asked for within the balayage, and that this strong colour would be permanent, or that colour could be neutralised and would wash out within a couple of washes. I was stunned and naturally neither option appealed to me, as it wasn’t the outcome I’d expected. The hairdresser then became tetchy because I was dithering and "time is an issue for him." In hindsight I should have left then but I didn't and with the fate of my hair in his hands I was apprehensive of upsetting him. I was clearly uncomfortable and then felt more so as he kept asking if I was okay (he could obviously see that I was upset.) I am not someone who easily speaks out and I was just too stunned at the treatment I was experiencing to say much. After rinsing the colour off we returned to the chair and he then told me I didn’t need as much cut off as I thought. He spent a matter of moments trimming my hair then asked if I wanted straighteners on it. I declined because despite also discussing a treatment in the Zoom consultation, this had not been applied and my hair looked dry and brittle. It then felt like he bustled me down to pay at the reception desk, as fast as possible. My bill did come out a bit lower than I’d been quoted but I hadn’t had the conditioning treatment. Since returning home, friends have agreed that the colour is nothing like what I had been discussing for weeks and that he has not even given me a decent hair-cut. Why didn’t I complain in the salon? Because this is billed as a high-class London salon, where experiences like this shouldn’t happen. I was so utterly devastated, I couldn’t even begin to articulate how I felt at the time. I’ve gone over the conversations I had in the salon in my head, wondering if I said something to upset the hairdresser but, I have to conclude that I simply experienced the worst kind of customer service. I paid a lot of money for a terrible result and was made to feel like it was my fault. I appreciate that hairdressers are working under Covid restrictions, that it is stressful and they have many clients to fit in to make up for being closed. But surely this should not mean customers are disappointed, rushed and made to feel small.

I booked a cut at karine jackson salon feeling a little bit skeptical as in my 3 year in London I’ve lost completely my curls and God knows that I’ve tried every product to get them back. After meeting Joshua in less that 3 min he had the exact idea of how to do it and he was very confident about it he only told me to wait until the final result which was absolutely true!!!!!! I couldn’t be more happy with the result !!!!! IVE GOT MY CURLS BACK ! I’m not even joking he brought me back my confidence and of course I’ve already booked my next appointment.

I was welcomed really warmly and immediatly felt comfortable and as a guest. Alexia listened carefully to my wishes and gave me two options to fulfill my wishes. After many bad experiences with hairdressers I was very anxious about changing my hair colour but I finally got around to it and decided to come to Karine's Salon after hearing so much positive feedback about it. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The colour didn't quite turn out to be what I'd hoped for, but it's still a very deep glossy hue and most importantly, my hair feels smooth and silky thanks to the organic hair colour system they use. After the blow drying and styling, it looked and felt great. I will definitely be coming back.

This is a great place to get your hair and facial treatments done. Not just they do it perfectly, they also know how to deal with demanding clients. They are kind and professionals. You will get a customised service, they really take care of you and while they do their job you will forget about everything and feel renewed. I strongly recommend this place. I'm just home from my first trip to Karine Jackson's Hair & Beauty Salon. It will certainly not be my last! My colour looks fabulous - Karine got it bang on with what I wanted. I have warm highlights of caramel and a really subtle red colour. The end result is something that looks effortlessly natural - I really am delighted with my hair! Karine uses Organic Colour Systems, a range which utilises organic ingredients and also cuts out as much of the potentially harmful chemicals as possible. The after care products are really great too. I had a little trim also whilst I was there and this just really helped to tidy up my hair. Don't believe the negative reviews below - whilst I was in the salon and there were at least three regulars. People come back for a reason. People who leave bogus negative reviews do so for a reason - notice how they're all anonymous?!

My hair had started to really thin badly over the last year, probably due to over colouring with harsh chemicals, stress, etc. All very frightening as hair is so important to us girls. I decided to try Karine Jackson Salon and the Organic Colour System used which has probably the least chemicals possible in a permanent hair colour. I was very nervous about going as my hair was still falling out at a rate. Well, worry, I need not. An amazingly positive experience all round. Lovely caring and welcoming staff, calm surrounds and Karine herself, pin pointed my scalp problem immediately. The whole colour experience was a joy, no eye watering ammonia smells, the colour heated on your head by your own head heat and of course best of all the results were wonderful shinny, healthy looking coloured hair. By following Karine's advice, my hair has now stopped falling out and there are signs of regrowth. The colour is still rich and shinny. Such a relief to have found such a wonderful Salon. Thank you all.

WONDERFUL SERVICE! for the past couple of months I've been wearing wigs, My hair was completely ruined by my previous hairdresser ( from another salon). My wig needed styling so I booked an appointment with one of the stylists, Simon. and I have to say this man truly is amazing! he really listened to what kind of style I was looking for, gave me tips on how to look after my wig and my own hair, he was really friendly. He did an amazing job! I wish all hairdressers where like him a true proffessional! . The salon itself is very nice! staff are very friendly and asked if I would like something to drink, and were very helpful! I will definately go back ! She was fantastic and did a great job! Been going here every month for 5 years now, and every visit is a pleasure. I'm really startled at some of the reviews here since I have never had anything but professional, friendly service. (I used to live in London when I first started going to Karine's, I now live in the Cotswolds but still make my monthly pilgrimage - lack of convenience for me is more than made up by the helpful, honest and fun attitude of the staff.) This is also one of the few salons specialising in exceptional organic colour products - and ladies, if you are really grey like me you need to check out the health benefits of using organic colour long term, over the hideous chemical stuff that can cause bladder cancer. I urge you to try this place, I'll never go anywhere else.
