P. A.I've been going to this barbers for the last year and a half and can't recommend them enough!
Really friendly, helpful and provide a great hair cut and for a booked service a standard price for the area for the level of skill and service.
There is also a loyalty card you can earn stamps for a free hair cut - I always forget my card :-S
I also told them when I was getting married last year and they gave me extra time to get it cut for the big day - it looked amazing so really appreciate it!
P. A.Recommended by a friend. Was a bit hesitant due to prices, but though twice more expensive than my pre-covid barber, who has moved away, I feel satisfied that I paid for a quality haircut.
Booked Carly blindly as I had never been before and she was free, which turned out to be great as she was excellent. Friendly, professional and easy to talk to, she listened and understood what I wanted and had suggestions without being pushy.
My hair is old and quite difficult, but Carly managed to patiently create a haircut I was very pleased with.
Summary: a bit expensive compared to others nearby, but I definitely feel I got what I paid for and will certainly be back.

D.This is a great barber. I've been going for a few years and wouldn't change. Pricier than most places nearby but you are getting a much better quality haircut. Careful, attentive, no rush. I've had a good cut with different barbers each time. Occasional shot of bourbon goes down well too.

Price may be kinda high for local but I think if there is consistency in the cut then I guess it may be justified.
There's a loyalty scheme of a free product after a certain number of cuts I believe.
I'll be back. But I sure will feel guilty cheating on my old barber... I'll share my love, I guess.
L. H.Really nice little barber shop. I used to visit the Hackney Road one but this one is closer to me and I thought I would try it out. I have mid-long-length hair and was growing it out when I visited and the staff were very accommodating and understanding of my wishes, offering helpful advice for the future. Staff are all fun and friendly, play cool music and offer you drinks and a good laugh. Top experiences always so far.
N. B.An excellent no nonsense barbers' shop with skilled, friendly staff and great music! Now reopened after lockdown and with a new reservations app available from their website. Only downside is you have to remember to bring cash!

Delightful music and atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and you may even have the chance to enjoy a free drink, stand in line by attaching your name to the board. The service is quite professional. Vincenzo always does everything to make me happy. They do not accept card payments but there are many ATMs.

J. B.Vinnie’s new place is rocking. Good tunes, great cuts. And because it’s somewhat off the beaten track compared to the Hackney shop, you don’t need to wait so long for a cut. Ask for Vinnie, he’s the best in the business and always pays incredible attention to detail when cutting my hair. He’s never given me a bad cut in 5 years.

this was HANDS DOWN the BEST haircut I’ve ever had, the guy that cut my hair made sure not a single hair was out of place, he kept going back and checking and touching it up until it was perfect.

I went yesterday at this barber shop for the first time because my other barber moved a different place. Guys, I'm telling you, the experience was so cool...
The barber, Mihai, he's prety lit! He explained me how I should have my hair so it look good and I can also grow it longer, didn't rush and made it perfect. And when I wake today and check it again in mirror.... Guess what? If usually it looks vettbe the day you have the haircut, now I think it looks even better than the first day!
I'm really happy with my haircut! If you go to them they're not the cheapest. But let me ask you this: do you want the cheapest or the best? And their pricings are reasonable.

F.I went to visit this place once and i fall in love with the interiors and the music. I’m a girl, so i didn’t know if I could have cut only my fringe.
I did put my name on the board and within half hour waiting , Vinny called my name and I was served !

j. f.This is my first visit to Rocket barber shop in Leyton and it won't be my last. Technically a far superior barbers than any I have tried in Leyton and Walthamstow. I have lived in the area for over 20 years and have tried a number of barbers in the area so it was a joy to have them talk through about my hair and getting my parting right. This may sound simple but getting this right perviously has been a real hassel. So thanks for a super cut by a proper barber.
B. M.I love these folk. As a long time regular of the Hackney shop I was so happy when the team set up in Leyton. They are really good at what they do, they are really lovely and they don’t cost a ridiculous amount (£18 for a cut). Only tip is to get in early and put your name down on the chalk board as waiting times are pretty long - but that’s a good sign!
