Harry & Lina are the best! Harry has cut my hair for years and always leaves me feeling confident. If you need colour, Lina is the go to, she patiently spent hours dying my dark long roots the most perfect ash blonde. I felt beautiful. I couldn’t recommend more. They’re so personable and professional.

Root hair & beauty have transformed my hair. It used to be so damaged and brittle before. On my first visit, I was hoping to have a colour, cut & blow dry. I was advised to not colour my hair for at least 6 months. They could have easily have just taken money as I am sure many other stylists would. They instantly won my trust. I have visited this salon for over a year now and there is no turning back. My hair looks so healthy and they give the best advice. I strongly recommend!

I came here for the first time yesterday (slow of me, as a good friend has been raving about them for years!) and was certainly not disappointed. Stefano was brilliant- he listened, advised and was easy going.The products used smelled gorgeous and made my hair really soft and shiny. Most importantly, I'm very happy with my new haircut. Thank you! (I confess I'm further delighted as this is the first salon in recent years that hasn't insisted on a head massage after shampooing- something that makes me quite anxious rather than relaxed, especially as it's often done heavy-handedly. So thank you so much for not making me politely endure one!)

It took me ages to find a Hairdresser that would do a perfect balayage without the need to backcomb. I have been to see Stefano now twice and will definitely be going back the 3rd time. He works magic every time and is very gentle when coloring my hair. Thank you!!! :)

I went to Root to fix my haircut and colour, and I’ve been very satisfied with the result and the overall service. Stefano, the owner and master hairstylist, recommended the best treatment, colour and hairstyle for my hair, and I was really impressed with the final result - especially with the colour! In fact I had done blonde highlights few months earlier at another haidresser, that had turned “yellowish” - Stefano toned down the blonde colour, and made the colour look more natural. They also sell very good organic hair product, and they gave me some samples to try. The place itself is very cool, and the team is nice and friendly. The prices are not cheap (in line with London average) but considering the level of expertise and the service, it’s worth the money. I’ll surely be back.

Very friendly, lovely salon. I went to Root hair salon after one "fancy". Salon ruined my hair beyond repair. I was left with dark roots and overbleached uneven "muddy" greenish hair on the rest of the hair. It was awful. Stefano did the best to cover the mess with warm dark brown. He did amazing job.

I've been going to EXM on and off for years, so was excited when it got a fresh new name and look. It didn't disappoint. Stefan did a cut and keratin treatment - by FAR the best I've ever had. I will not let anyone else touch my hair now. The treatment isn't the cheapest out there - but it is absolutely the best. After a few years of trying to get it cheaper from Groupon etc I've realised you totally get what you pay for. The staff are lovely, the products are natural and smell great and the quality of the cut and finish is the best in London. Thank you :-) x

I've been coming to see Charmaine for bikini waxing for 8+ years now and even though I've moved 5 times I wouldn't dare go anywhere else! She gives brilliant strip waxes (hot wax plus cotton strip) and will talk to you unlike other beauticians which helps to take your mind off the let's face it, not too pleasant experience! Cannot recommend enough. Great price too for Central London.
