Fabulous outcome, rough journey. I [Female,20] recently got a haircut here and asked for Korean curtain bangs. I have gotten a haircut there before by the lovely lady (I believe her name is Katrina) who did a wonderful job, so I had high expectations. This time I was cut by a man (who works on Fridays), and I had a few issues with the cut. Firstly, he cut my fringe so that it was a bit different in length on both sides, and he seemed unfamiliar with how to style it. I tried to tell him to use a rounded brush and blow-dry the fringe upwards, but he slightly misunderstood me. He then proceeded to style it, and when I asked if he could do it differently, he seemed to get a tad irritated/impatient that I wasn’t super happy with the result. Katrina then came over and styled it, it looked great in the salon, but after I washed my hair, it was clear to me that it wasn’t even in length. A week later, I called them up and asked if I could get it touched up, and Katrina very kindly agreed to do that for me. She put a lot of effort into making it look very nice and exactly how I wanted, without charging me. I came out super happy with the result, but the journey wasn’t so smooth. The staff there are very kind, friendly and caring; they spent some time helping me look for an earring that I lost, and the cut itself was not too expensive. I would still rate this place well as the customer service is excellent, and I recommend Katrina as a stylist.

Best in the city, customer service on point, friendly and welcoming. 15 years straight and not a single complaint. I trust no one to touch my hair except Simon and it has been like that for the last 15 years. Tried the others in the same shop when Simon was busy and I needed emergency hair cut. Well trained and very good but Simon is Simon, it's not just the cut, it's the love he gives and the conversations.

Absolutely love my haircut! Katrina has done an amazing job (as usual). She cuts my hair according to how I want it and does it to high standards. She always exceeds my expectations. I definitely recommend this place!

Katrina really puts in the time and effort to listen on what I’d like to get done on my hair, I’ve never felt a rush and would feel at ease and comfortable. High end quality salon with affordable prices. Show them a picture of what you're after and they get it done perfectly every time. I travel in 5 miles just to get my hair cut here. Enough said! Edit: I've stopped going many years back since my favourite hairdresser stopped working here. The others are OK but they ain't nowhere close to as good as Gary was.

I've been going here for my haircuts for about 2 years. Staff are extremely friendly, and it's easy enough to get an appointment if you ring up a day or two in advance because they do get busy sometimes. I always have Gary to cut my hair, very friendly chap who knows what he is doing. Highly recommend paying them a visit especially if you live or work in the Mile End area and want to pop in for a lunchtime haircut.
