I am a little late in writing one of these, but here we go. This place is fantastic! Service is always on point; the bottled water and occasional beer are always welcomes. I've been coming to Southwark Barbers since they opened 5yrs ago, probably longer, and the service has never faltered. Leonardo is a brilliant barber, always welcoming and just a fun guy...All the barbers are knowledgeable, and no matter who cut's your hair, you will always come away with a brilliant haircut.

I have been coming to Southwark Barbers since... forever! For the last 5 years, since they opened I believe. No matter who you get your appointment with, you can always expect a really good professional, a great service and friendly barber. And most of the the times, an Italian one (maybe that explain why they are so friendly and chatty, if you are in the mood). Totally recommended. Great value for money. They all know what they are doing and how to get you satisfied. They will also offer you complimentary drinks while you are waiting or being service. Manuel

It's ok. The value for money is good but don't expect premium treatment. I went for a wet shave, dude cut most of my goatee with a machine. It's probably good to go here for small adjustments or refreshment. They are quick though, lunch time gets busy so try and go around 11:30 or close to it.

Very good barbers, I’ve been to many over the years and this one is by far the best I’ve had. Every barber there is consistent with their haircuts as they all use the same style and technique. This is one of the best place in London where to get your air-cut. Always depend on who cut your hair, but until now I have no negative feedback on the Italian guys that work there, Francesco did on me a beautiful haircut and they are always super friendly and kind. The only problem I had was 1 week ago when I had an haircut from and Albanian guy, the reason why after 1 year and an half I will not go there anymore. But anyway all the guys are really prepared and they make you feel comfortable. They really take care of the customers!

I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. A great, no-nonsense business, can get busy so avoid peak times if you’re in a rush. I’ve had my hair cut by various different members of staff over the years and all have seemed equally skilled. That said, I had a great haircut by Francesco last week, so I would highly recommend him.

One of the best haircut experiences I've had, especially at this reasonable price. My barber wore dark blue round frame glasses and was meticulous and precise. It lasted about 20 minutes but felt like he really took his time. He was also to the point, didn't chit chat, no smoke and mirror, just did a perfect job. Beyond great! American tourist doing unexpected business in London and needed a haircut. Checked reviews and saw great ones for this place. Walked here from Central London (1.3 miles) and saw great parts of London I would not have seen otherwise (Brighton Market, etc.). Barber shop is under the Southwark Bridge, funky cool location, neat place, nice area. Had Ahmed as my barber -- young guy with all the tools of his trade tattooed on his arm. Don't let his age fool you. Easily the best haircut of my life. 18 pounds (approx $27 at the time of this review), tipped him up to 23 pounds ($35) as it was easily as good as any haircut I've gotten at that price or any other anywhere in the world. Enjoy the experience. It will be worth the trip -- promise.

Had my hair cut by Ahmed Montana, and what can I say, he's a dangerous, dangerous man. One of the best cuts I've had in years. This man is changing lives one fade at a time. Great vibe inside the shop, and your barber will give you recommendations on how to style your hair, then let you make a decision. Great price too, you pay for quality. Ahmed has taken me from a 6/10 to a 12/10, what more could you want?
