This is a quality barbers. I went after work on a Friday and got a seen straight away, although if you did ever have to wait there is complimentary drinks, including beers and comfy sofas. For a haircut and wet shave I must have been in the chair for almost an hour, which shows the level of detail that they go into, which is appreciated as they delivered a high quality service. Will be back regularly

Brilliant local barber shop located on Old Street. The skill of the barbers are brilliant and since trying out other barbers in the area Blade is one of the best I have been too. Very friendly atmosphere and very welcoming as you walk in. Even offering you a drink as soon as you sit down. A great barber and a must visit if you’re in the area looking for a haircut, beard trim or both.

Amazing service! I've had haircuts with Aykut and Firat and both were very professional, styled my hair perfectly. I also love how thorough and precise both barbers were. Yes to hot towel treatment too!

Great service and very friendly staff - the service is amazing and they always offer you a drink at your arrival. I love coming here and get myself a treatment - this place couldn't be better! I would love to have the possibility to book and appointment, but I don't mind the way to have my hair cut with G - he just knows how I like my hair done! I haven't tried the other professionals, but I can see that all of them are equally professional. You wouldn't be wrong by having your hair cut here!

I visited this barbers for the third time today, and since going have had two barbers. I have been to a lot of places in London and have struggled to find the right quality and consistency. I have tried the Turkish barbers in Green Lanes, a few of the Ted's Grooming Rooms and many other aspiring trendy and not so trendy establishments. This barbers is the best I have found so far and I would say that if you are looking for a haircut, beard trim and hot towel treatment, in this barbers you will get the best by far in London. The barbers all sport the styles they give, they are friendly and polite. They are careful, and obviously take pride in their work. The quality I have experienced is very high and the value for money is also very good. I take my hat off to the person that sets the standards here and takes care of hiring the barbers. They clearly understand what good quality is and I am glad to have found it. Well done on creating a very good service.

Great hospitality in the shape of Tea, Coffee (Regular or Turkish) or cold bottled water awaits you upon your arrival! A great haircut always includes a hot towel treatment and a lovely massage at the end. Always a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Just one of the many reasons that I go back there on a regular basis. I would as always recommend it!

Got my hair cut here today. I have never written a review on a hair cut before but the quality and value of this experience compelled me. For £22, not including tip I received advice on the best way to cut my hair based on a number of factors but at the end he left the final decision up to me. Getting professional advice on what would look best was basically a consultation am for the price of the cut. I also received massage, wash and style. Also a great conversation and sports played at eye level on the tele. If you are in Islington or Shoreditch; this a great option.

I've been here a few times after leaving that wasteman barbers across the road "Legends". These guys have a mixture between experienced barbers and kids. All of them cut and shave really well the price is really good compared to other Turkish places I've been to around Moorgate and Cheapside If you are a first timer wait for the slim guy with short beard or the other guy who is has a hench beard (he's MIA at the moment though)

Somehow sitting comfortably between being a matey locals Turkish barber and a hipster-than-thou joint. These friendly (if *slightly* pretentious) guys will give your hair a sharp cut and your beard a trim (with wet towel and a brief hand/arm rubdown) for just north of £20.
