Coming from France, this was my first time in a London hairdresser and I was not disappointed! New hair colour, styling and cut on a Sunday morning under Chris’ experienced hands. It was a great experience! Chris was very professional but still very friendly, it was a pleasure to spend my Sunday morning with him. He told me the story of how the salon came to be, where each of the decorative items came from and it made me want to support The Hairy Chair even more. I will definitely be going back and I recommend you go there to have a good time while refreshing your hair. ✨✨. - Angeline

The guys at the hairy chair are the most genuine, warm and talented hairdressers. I have always been super happy with my cuts and colour and trust them entirely when I go. Love this salon. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the salon with its recent new decor is fabulous ! I absolutely love going to the hairy chair. Everyone’s lovely always - I don’t know how they do it!! Never a dull moment. I was so impressed recently when I took my little baby on a hair dye session - lots of staff got involved in entertaining him when I couldn’t move! It all went so smoothly. Also they have great earrings on sale from a local maker 😎

I havent been to a salon for the longest time and was recommended the hairy chair. Had an initial consultation with Tenna and then a beautiful balyage and cut this week. It was honestly such a lovely experience and my colour was just amazing. Tenna is super creative and talked me though how light I could realistically go without damaging my hair. I really felt that I was in safe hands. The salon itself is also really cute and eco friendly. Loved it!!

Before moving to Ireland I always went to Chris to get my haircut, following him to the Hairy Chair when he opened the salon. I'm chomping at the bit to be able to be able to come to London and get a good haircut, other places I've had to go haven't done anywhere near as good a job. Would 10000% recommend Chris and the Hairy Chair! Great value, great quality, great chat - can't ask for anything else!

I love this place. It's reasonably priced for a good London haircut. I usually see Chris and he always listens to what I'm asking for. Plus there is always a good calibre of chat and the appointments feel unhurried. The booking app on the website is easy to use. The décor is a work in progress but I really like it.

I am usually apprehensive about new salons who have in the past damaged my hair with colour/bleached lighter than needed and then always want to upsell you a hairmask to fix. These guys nailed it! Didn't try to sell me product to fix their mistakes (as they didn't make any mistakes) and prices were very reasonable. I'll be back.

I bloody love the Hairy Chair and I'm sure you would too! Chris, Phil and the team have worked so hard to make it such a fun, relaxed place and Chris is so ridiculously talented. I've followed him from his last salon and even though it takes me 2 hrs to get there and 2 hours back I could never go to another stylist. You can talk through what you want and Chris will make it look amazing on you and suit you entirely. I can tell the Hairy Chair is going to go from strength to strength so give it a visit now whilst you can still get an appointment!
