I loved the time I spent at Tusk. I had my hair cut and coloured by Tommy, who made me feel really at ease and is clearly very skilled at his job. Really can't recommend this studio highly enough. I love how my hair turned out too!

Amazing hairdressers that will do everything they can to make you hair dreams come true, very talented and knowledgeable especially if you want something that's not the normal everyday colour and cut, but of course they can do that too if you wish!

I was really nervous about getting my haircut, i have had many disaster haircuts. I found this place online. Tommy cut my hair, he was really friendly and lovely. I got exactly the haircut i wanted. He put me at ease straight away. He is a great hairdresser and very genuine. I will deffo be back.

I came to hear about Tusk after my wife had an amazing experience with Tommy who works there. Before this appointment I had never been to the hairdressers before for two reasons, I could make do with the job I was doing at home, even though it was never truly what I wanted I always thought I was another box dye away from it. I was always terrified of going to the hairdressers, I had heard so many awful horror stories of hairdressers not listening to what their clients wanted, such as 'I want an inch taking off the end and then being left with and inch of hair'. I came in and spoke to Carol who listen and assessed my hair journey she explained my options but went way beyond my dreams. The haircut was one of the more nerve wrecking parts of the experience I've had the same hair style my entire life so when Carol came to cutting it she did it with such awareness working gradually. I LOVE SO MUCH WHAT SHE HAS GIVEN ME!!!! I also want to mention that the salon space is so lovely, it has a great energy with all the staff being friendly and open, the music is chiled easy listeningl so you can just relax. I cut my hair very short and it was often very difficult to many hairdressers to get it right. Today I went to Tusk for the first time and I didn’t regret it. I happened to walk past the Tusk salon when shopping in Camden high street and decided to just go in and have a basic cut and style as I was way overdue for a cut. The lady was lovely (sorry I forgot her name but she had funky pink hair) and I was very so happy with the result. I wish this salon was more local to me as I would have no doubts making this my regular salon. 5 stars and highly recomended for a superb finish

Having a mid twenties life crisis and coming from the burbs of the US - I wanted to put a bunch of color in my hair. Stumbled over this way and immediately felt at ease as the owner has neon pink hair and her protege was also sporting some pastels pinks. So I went for it and it turned out so fab - I looked like a classy hybrid between a mermaid and a care bear with the ombre effect I was going for. Also - I was so hung over last time around and being there for over 4 hours all I wanted was to sip tea, die, and get my hair done with minimal human interaction. Danielle is so great about not being a chatterbox. She does the hair, she does it well, and charges modestly. Highly recommend!

From the moment I burst in randomly asking for my hair to be chopped into layers from living with it one length all my life, to the amazing reddish purple dip-dye I went with the day after that, Tusk has won me over as a life long client. The very bright red has faded to a lovely autumnal red-brown (people assume I've had it dyed again - I haven't, it's the fantastic dye they used!) - though itching to go bright again. Finally found a hairdresser I can trust.

I know Tusk when Tusk was originally situated closer to Camden tube, always happy with the result from all stylists. One of those class unique hairdressers that is funky, trendy and very professional. Made a few friends their through the years and hoping the owner still recognises me when I visit in a couple of weeks ;) ( Beau)

had a lovely experience here a few days ago - went in with faded hair from being previously lightened - and needed and over all colour to even out my brown hair which had gone patchy - Carole took care of me and gave me lots of advice about my love of purple dip dye in addition to custom mixing a natural brown hair colour close to my own for roots to mid lengths - a place where you actually get what you ask for and very fairly priced - so pleased, I will be back again soon thanks TUSK
