Had my first haircut with Charlie, incredible skill, super welcoming and friendly. Had a short back and side with a skin fade - incredible outcome and skill! I have greek hair so very thick and curly / very hard to cut.
I had my second haircut today by Hugo and the outcome was even better - something i didn’t think was possible…
Both Charlie and Hugo are both highly skilled, knowledgable on which products to use, professional and friendly.
Best Barber i’ve been too & i’ve been to many…
Wacky Barbican is now my go to spot.

Great place to get a men's haircut. The wait can be a bit longer than I'd like as they don't book any appointments in advance but overall I suppose you have to wait for a good cut.
I've had a haircut from The Barbican location (regularly) and the Soho shop (once or twice). The wait was a bit longer in Soho but I was happy with the result from both shops so would certainly consider myself a regular.
Another plus: free beer/coffee/soft drink with every cut!

Great haircut and friendly staff.

Great haircuts, very nice staff. They also deal with our 3 y/o who hates haircuts, yet they do a cracking job and have infinite patience!

Excellent, friendly place. A couple of the reviews here suggest that communication was a problem - not today! Dan made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and went in with a refreshingly light touch in order to keep the length but tidy up the sides - unlike some barbers who might hack away regardless. Hope to pop back in the new year x

Tried this barber for the first time - have to say it’s a really good place if you are looking for a haircut close to Barbican. Great atmosphere too

Was in the area and decided I’d give Urban EC1 a try after seeing how inviting it looked inside! So glad I did! Jas is a great guy, gave me an excellent trim and I’ll definitely be returning when I’m back in the area! Many thanks!

I don't know what this even is but I prefer the way Brits have their zip codes set up, so 4 stars from me

My favourite hairdressers in London- quality of the cut is on par with £80 cuts I’ve had before but for fraction of the price. Very personable- owner was just playing on his ukelele

This review is a couple of weeks overdue, but I can easily say that this was one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I have been to a lot of different barbers and hairdressers and this is one of those rare places where you walk out with the cut you ask for!!
All the staff are super-friendly and banter is great. With a beer in hand, this was the most enjoyable haircut I have had in a long time. And, while I'm sure none of the staff will disappoint, it was Keesha who cut my hair and I couldn't recommend her enough. As I was not in a rush, she really took her time and sculpted my hair perfectly, stopping for a few laughs along the way. She will also sing if you ask her to!
Great haircuts, and a great time...I am definitely going to be back again soon!

Went for a haircut, got lucky same night.
Next time, exactly same situation.
Coincidence? I don't think so!!

Considering the cost I expected a slightly better cut. Just writing my opinion. Didn't say its bad, 3 stars, its OK.
