Been a customer for over 30 years, now travel from Cornwall, a 700 mile trip every few months to have my hair cut… since moving I found a new doctor, dentist and chiropodist etc, however you can’t replace a great hairdresser!!! Great service, great team and always a truly amazing experience! 👦🏻

I have had my hair done regularly at The Hair Bank from day one. Never been disappointed with colour, cut and blow, even had amazing hair styles for special occasions. The staff are wonderful, extremely friendly and very loyal. Most of them have worked there since the beginning. Laura and her daughter Ria treat their staff like family, and I feel like I am part of that family at every visit.

What can I say about The HairBank….. I truly love having my hair done here, from the moment I walk in I feel so relaxed the level of professionalism is fantastic. The girls on reception always greet me with a warm welcome and happy to help with anything I need. My stylist always listens to what I want and I’m always thrilled with how my hair turns out. I highly recommend them.

When I moved to the area a few years ago I was looking for a stylist that was local but felt as though it was a city centre salon - for example, being up to date with the latest trends and being able to work with my brassy warm hair! I was not disappointed with the Hairbank, and have been a loyal customer for years. The Team are extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly, it’s a really comfortable and clean environment and they regularly undergo training on new techniques and develop the team. I was so impressed with the Hairbank that I asked Ria to do my bridal hair (extensions too - which I wouldn’t have known where to start without her advice) and my bridesmaids, all of which stayed in position for the day and night and looked beautiful. I’ve had many styles over the years and different colours from their Matrix colour masters. Ombré, balyage, peach, ash brown, platinum blonde, all with different cuts and shapes and never been disappointed and always followed their professional guidance. Couldn’t recommend Ria and the Hairbank highly enough - please never leave Urmston!

From the friendly welcome on arrival to the experienced stylists and staff not only am I always pleased with the results I also thoroughly enjoy the experience @ The Hairbank. Staff are very experienced in all areas and also offer a menu of treatments including a lovely head massage. Would definetely recommend !

The best in-salon service ever! The Hair Bank staff are always welcoming and accommodating … the salon is clean and friendly with lovely mirrors and chairs. I’ve used so many hairdressers… but I’m back with an old friend and got to say she’s the best. From coming in to walking out, the experience and knowledge behind each stylist is amazing. Ria has saved my hair from a state of disrepair and also a lot of colour issues I’ve had previously she has worked on so much to correct. They sell products in house which are recommend for your hair type by your stylist. Ria and her Mum (also hairdresser) also did my bridal hair, bridesmaids and my Mum for my special day after lockdown… the best service. Couldn’t recommend The Hair Bank enough ! Xx

I’ve been coming to Hair bank in Urmston for a couple of years now. Ebony is always very attentive and listens to how I like my hair to be. Ebony always offers some great ideas too. The girls always keep up to date with the latest trends and I’m always watching Instagram stories about their training days and awards they are up for. Highly recommend 😊

Amazingly super talented team, always really happy with colour and cut. A well organised business who are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. They are constantly training and it clearly shows in all the teams ability. They have recently made it through to the finals of the British Hairdressing Awards and won Manchester Best Salon Award which they truly deserve for all their effort that they put into the salon. The introduction of the private room since Covid is genius. For those who are vulnerable or nervous about going into a salon during this time, the team can see you in your own private safe space. The room is relaxing, beautifully styled and as always at the Hairbank, scrupulously clean. That added element of security to put your mind at rest at a time when there is so much uncertainty. Just perfect.

Brilliant! This is a really high-quality hair salon in the centre of Urmston and the place looks a million dollars. Laura and the team are all great, and a special mention goes to Claire who cuts my hair and also does brilliant shaves. In addition to the usual hair care stuff they also have a beauty therapist and in addition sports massage is available. It's always a great experience going to the Hair Bank, and their service is second to none. Highly recommended!
