Highly recommend! I moved to Manchester roughly two years ago and went on the usual journey of trying to find a decent hairdressers/barbers that I could go back to time and time again. Five or six places later (and some very questionable haircuts!) I found Urban Gents and I’ve been coming back ever since. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff is professional and attentive, taking time to get to know you and remember your hairstyles. Being able to make appointments online is much easier that having to call, making the overall experience a positive one. I’ve since recommended a number of friends and colleagues to go, and they have all becoming regular customers.

The one thing I'm really fussy about is my haircut. A friend of mine recommended this salon, so I though I'd check it out and I have to say: I'm really impressed. I got offered a complementary drink and had access to an iPad while waiting for my turn. The staff was very nice and polite and they managed to book me in the same day I called. I showed Tom a picture of the haircut I wanted and he did an amazing job recreating it. I still can't wipe the smile off my face after visiting this salon. If you want a very high quality haircut this is the best place in Manchester to go to. I will definitely visit it again.

One of my favourite places to get a haircut in Manchester. A very relaxed atmosphere, and you always get plenty of time with your hairdresser (without it taking too long). The guys always do a great job, and offer good advice. If you are anything like me, I normally go in with the most basic instructions, and they manage to turn it into an actual haircut. Often you can get a booking on the same day. And there are definitely more expensive places in Manchester to get a haircut that aren't worth the same quality.

I have tried at least 5-6 barbers throughout Manchester all without success. Urban gent easily surpasses these on both service and quality of haircut. Not only that it is one of the cheapest cuts. No pretentious employees which I find most people holding a comb in Manchester have. Highly recommend

It's hard for me to find a barber/salon that I like and trust with my hair but these guys are good. Great cut every time and the price isn't rediculous like most. Fitted me in on a busy Friday afternoon despite not booking. Also did a great job with my 2 yr old boy even with the fighting and tears! Although the shop is well fitted out they deserve a bigger one maybe less hidden. Having said that I do like the quiet and cosy atmosphere as it is.
