I had my appointment with Summer for a balayage, cut and finish. Summer was very polite, lovely, bubbly and professional that didn’t push too much for conversation which is fab for me as I could relax whilst having my hair done. Summer asked me questions all the way through process to make sure I got the exact result I wanted and would explain to me what she was doing and why which gave me piece of mind for my value for money. It is a little pricey but I am more than happy to pay to get perfect results I always do from Daniel Grangers Salon. I received the exact result I wanted at the end and when I saw my hair I couldn’t believe it was mine! It was absolutely perfect, I couldn’t find a flaw with it at all. I really felt like summer listened to what I wanted and really delivered my dream hair! The general venue is very luxurious, every staff member is lovely and professional. They have wonderful massaging lounge chairs when you receive a shampoo and a head massage. Lovely regular refreshments such as coffee and water throughout the experience. During the whole process I felt relaxed and pampered. There is not one thing I could suggest to make my experience any better. Thank you so much Summer for making my hair so beautiful!

I absolutely love going to this salon! As a busy working mum, I don’t get much time to myself, but whenever I feel come here I feel pampered and leave feeling fantastic. The salon itself is tastefully decorated, the staff are professional but friendly, and always make you feel very welcome. I love the massage chairs and the fact they have a salon dog too! Jade always takes the time to come and sit with me to discuss what I would like doing, and I trust her 100%. The products used in this salon are top quality and my hair always looks and feels great despite me having bleached hair with regular colour changes! Would highly recommend.

Lush salon! Exactly what you want from a salon experience. Warm welcome, great service - lots of nice barista coffee's to chose from - friendly staff and overall good atmosphere. Interior is really nice and airy, spacious and comfortable. I live in Devon (originally from Northampton) and travelled up to come here :) Definitely making another trip back soon. Jade is excellent at what she does and an absolute pleasure! Can't forget Enzo the dog too, what a cutie.

Emma is a wonderful stylist and is brilliant at cutting short hair. She has cut my hair numerous times over the past few years and every time she has done a superb job. Whether she’s used clippers or scissor over comb, her technique is always excellent. Emma spends her time listening to my needs and wants and always delivers. I can highly recommend her to anyone who wants a stylist who really goes above and beyond.

Excellent service from Emily, I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff are at Daniel Grainger!! I have spent years avoiding hairdresser’s due to my hair loss and after loosing my hair completely due to chemotherapy, Emily came to the rescue. I absolutely love this salon. Always greeted with a smile, a drink and never rushed during the initial consultation. Jade is my stylist and I can ask her honest advice and always know I will come away happy. Beautiful products are used all the way through from the beginning, initial colours to the end once hair is dry and styled. Not to mention the most calming head massage I've ever had. Best hairdressers in Northampton, but also yet to find one as good in London or Manchester. The calibre of stylists and the talent is unmatched. Even the graduate stylists are way above standards you’ll find in other salons. Filip, Ellie and Chloe are among the best stylists I’ve ever had do my hair over the years I’ve visited the salon. Customer service is beyond measure, always providing the best experience as a client. Whenever I’m in the area visiting family, I book in. Trust everyone under the Daniel Granger name to do my hair! I met Daniel when my life had hit rock bottom and I put my trust in him to give me a revamp and make me feel good about myself again. I walked out the salon with a whole new look which I loved. Daniel has been cutting my hair ever since, although it certainly puts miles on my car to go. Not only is he passionate about hair cutting he genuinely is the nicest guy who cares so much about his business, family and clients. He listens and takes an interest in you as a person. Whenever I walk into the salon you are met by friendly staff and I always walk out with a smile on my face.

This salon is perfect 👌 from the friendloesr staff, the best products used in town, massage chairs and freshly ground coffee, served however you wish. Whats not to love! I’ve been a customer for 5 years; I was new to the area & had been with my previous hairdresser nearly all my life; I’d tried other Salons in the area - but they didn’t leave me feeling that they cared about what they were doing or wanted me as a customer. DG are always friendly & welcoming. The service is always with a smile & they think about you before you go in - having ideas for changes to cut/colour to keep you looking fresh rather than dated. They all make you feel welcome, and valued! My husband & sister in law also now use DG , as do some of my friends :)

I came to DG Hair a couple of years ago for a free consultation. After really listening and looking at my hair, Stacey worked out a plan with me to achieve what I wanted. She turned what looked like a used brillo pad into goldilocks, and I've never looked back. Usually having had my hair washed and conditioned by enthusiastic apprentice Summer, I had her do the colour on my hair after she qualified, which she did with great care to get it exactly as I wanted. It's always a happy vibe in there, with constant offers of tea or latté etc., and their covid precautions always made me feel safe. Perhaps whoever does their website could update it, because it lets down all these dedicated hairdressers.

I came for my first gent's haircut on Thursday 11th August, arriving a little before my 4pm appointment with Rebecca. (The front of house experience was a tad disappointing and not particularly welcoming, but the salon was busy and it may well be the case that the person on reception was a little inexperienced and unsupported.) I've got to say that my consultation and cut with Rebecca was absolutely fantastic and well worth the wait! We chatted for a few minutes discussing ideas and forming a little plan for the next few cuts, before I had my hair washed pre-cut. Then the cut that followed was EXACTLY what we discussed..... I don't think this has ever happened before with any of the barbers that I have visited. Brilliant! I've got to say, the consultation, conversation and cut with Rebecca were all fantastic. She's a real talent and really made the visit worthwhile. I'm looking forward to returning in a few weeks time.

I love this salon. I've been going for over ten years and the service has always been amazing. It's not just that they're great stylists and do amazing things with hair, it's that when you walk in, everyone smiles at you and makes you feel so welcome. It's that they educate you about hair care and hair styling for your own benefit. It's that when you're in a rush and you need to do your makeup, to get where you're going after, and the stylist works around you putting on your mascara. It's that when my fiance comes to meet me after my appointment and he's a bit early, that they get him a seat and a coffee whilst he's waiting, without being asked. It's that they care. Everytime.
