A great salon with fab and very helpful staff. My daughter had a pre school cut here and enjoyed herself so much she has already decided she wants to go bk again. Bright and colourful and perfect for kids with their own car chairs and movies playing. 😊 Can't wait till you expand so lil miss can get her mini mani.😊💅💇‍♀️💇‍♂️💇 Massive thanks to Sam, who really made my daughters experience really memorable. Great service at this saloon always. Nikki is always helpful and makes our little boys experience great. He looks forward to actually going to get his hair cut nowadays. Who would of thought he would ever be like that. Not us. Well done Nikki and all Shortcuts Northampton

My daughter loves getting her hair cut here! It is such a fun way for kids to get their hair cut. Staff are always lovely - in particular the lady who has cut her hair the last 2 times (I’m sorry I forgot her name, but I believe we was the only 9:30 appointment today) but I believe she is fairly new and has short brown hair. She is fantastic with children. I think the prices are reasonable and I like that they offer the loyalty scheme and my daughters fave part is the lollipop at the end! I love that you can book and re schedule online! Will continue to return. The car park is a bit hit and miss at times with traffic but there are plenty of side streets you can park down.

Really happy about our experience here. It was our son's first haircut and we'd had bad experiences with the doctors and dentists so we were a bit nervous, however our hairdresser was great with him and have good advice for his hair which is very curly.

We popped into the hairdressers last Saturday on the off chance they could trim our little girls fringe as she was going to a party that afternoon. Nikki was very helpful and did this for us near enough straight away as she had just finished someone else's hair. What a great service and the price was very good value for money. Will be coming back here for all of our children's hair now. Great effort.

My 18month old boy had his first cut here today. The hairdresser was fantastic and clearly very experienced dealing with young children and first haircuts. What could’ve been a very stressful experience went very well and I’ll definitely be returning. His cut looks fantastic and he looks very grown up.

Been here today with my partner to get our sons hair cut. Have to say what a great experience it was. Big shout out to nikki martin, you could tell she was extremely busy today guessing as its Bank Holiday weekend but she cut our boys hair brilliantly and with such professionalism. Went for the first time today with my 2 boys age 9 and 7. They loved loved loved it. They could play electronic games while having there haircut which kept them occupied and calm. The stylist was great with kids and for the first time ever my oldest boy loved his haircut also you can make appointments so no waiting 2 or 3 hours in a barbers. I will definitely be back. This is a really good, child friendly and parent friendly hairdresser's. It's especially good for children with additional needs. Our son is autistic and has always hated getting his hair cut but the staff here made him feel really welcome and at ease and he has the added benefit of playing PlayStation whilst getting his hair done, which is the perfect distraction! Highly recommended and reasonably priced!!

The staff at ShortCuts have always done an amazing job with my sons hair. Staff are always friendly and are always talking with my son through the haircut to make sure he is okay. They put tv shows on for him which settles him. And also a reasonable price. They also have a stamp card so after 9 or so haircuts you get one free (bonus!) great place and great staff! 👍🏻

Our little boy loves coming here. Its a bit of a distance for us but as we have family in Northampton its not to much trouble. Nikki who always cut our little boy is always friendly with a smile. Only slight problem we have is booking in to see her as shes always so busy but I guess that must be a good thing lol. The race cars add a touch to get him settled, last time he even stamped his loyalty card himself which made his day.

Lovely Clean Salon For children.. fun laid back atmosphere! Dj & Kirsty were amazing with my 2 year old son who hates getting his fringe cut! Was very happy with how even his cut was considering the amount my son was moving.. over the moon with how his hair looks😍 At £2 for a fringe cut too, just brilliant! Deffo my new go to salon for my son!

Hands down to Nikki Martin. What an asset she is to this company. Always happy and smiling, my partners little boy now asks us to make sure Nikki is cutting his hair everytime otherwise he wont get in the car. He doesnt trust anyone else. My son has special needs adhd/asd emma was who cut his hair was amazing she made my boy so relaxed and communication was great every step of the way. The best hair experience my boys ever had. When booking the appointment of which i did on line, there was a box for other coments which i put information about my son which may help with the process. They took notice of it and put it into practice for the first time in 4 months my boys hair is now amazing. And most importantly no kick offs even after. Okish, depends which hairdresser you're booking with. We tried 4 of them, Emma was the best, most patient and really took her time to perfect my sons hair.

Me and son use this hair dresser all the time. It's the only place we will go. The staff are really friendly and make kids feel relaxed. They have TV with kids programs for them to watch while cutting their hair. Also have ps3 for older children to use.

Great for kids cuts. They cater for the very young and slightly older. You can choose to sit in a car to have your hair cut whilst watching Igle piggle and alike or sit on the other side like my son playing PlayStation.
