I had a wonderful experience at the Orb; Kate has created a beautiful, warm and relaxing space where I felt thoroughly pampered, and with a clear conscience knowing the products are cruelty free and sustainable. Kate is a kind, fun person and easy to talk to. She really listened to my hair concerns and her approach was considered, personal and attentive, taking into account my very dry, frizzy hair, which many other hairdressers have struggled with! I am so happy with the cut and colour, Kate is incredibly skilled. My hair colour is natural-looking and well suited to me, and she has transformed the condition and style with the cut. Thank you :)

I went to Orb for the first time yesterday to have a colour and cut for my curly hair. Kate did a fantastic job! It is really nice to go somewhere that cares so much about the environment as well as your hair. It was a lovely relaxing bit of 'me time', and good to not have to go in the city. I was a bit worried about whether I would be able to park but she has space outside her shop for customers. I've already booked my next appointment, so would definitely recommend!

So happy with my cut. Always a bit nervous trying out a new hairdresser with my non-straightforward hair but Kate could see what needed doing, and did it! I've often left a salon thinking / hoping 'it'll probably look better once I've styled it' but I was happy straight away. Also loved the products. A good find...

Kate is completely excellent, having now trusted her with many restyles, and the occasional colour. She always listens carefully to what you have in mind for a style, and executes it perfectly. She is very conscientious and will take the extra time if needed to get the job done right. She will also lend advice and help you make up your mind if you're not quite sure! The vibe in the salon is very chilled, Kate always has an interesting playlist on and the products she uses smell amazing. If you want flawless cuts while supporting a small business with an environmentally friendly business practice, look no further!!

Kate’s salon is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk in there is a relaxing, calm ambience with the essential oils, crystals and decor. It is very unique and feels very boutiquey with all of the extra touches she puts into her shop and all of the organic products. She is a amazing hairdresser too. Highly recommend

This was my first time going to Orb and I was going for a super drastic haircut - I wanted it short. They did an absolutely amazing job with my vague style description. She hadn't even finished and I was a love! I felt super relaxed and had a great time. Not to mention how amazing it is find a hairdressers with vegan products and a great ethos. A very friendly individual who will make conversation with you throughout your appointment (not in the small-talk way but in the way that she is genuinely interested in you and hearing what you have to say). Everything is done very professionally and I came out with a beautiful cut and colour as I felt able to trust her with a dramatic (for me) haircut.
