The hair salon was amazing! Lena is outstanding, she was very friendly, and took care about my hair. I have long hair and it took almost 5 hours, she gave all her time to make sure my hair is completed and I was happy with it. I had my hair highlighted, cut and blow dried. Had a great experience at Rush. Went to get a Balayage done on my hair and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The consultation at the beginning was so well thought out, I came along with two inspiration pictures and Lana (my hairstylist) came to a middle ground and gave me the best option for my hair. Love Rush Nottingham and their salon is very friendly with a nice team and premises. Lana is literally my knight in shining armour - rescuing my hair and mind-reading the perfect hair colour. Her skills are impressive and I'll literally follow her around the country to get that perfect cut, colour and blow dry because she is so good. Her recommendations for helping my stressed out hair heal while slowing the effects of androgenetic alopecia, and made my hair visibly stronger. Worth a visit and conveniently located in Nottingham city centre. Worth the investment of money too.

Blanka is great every time. I feel relaxed as though at home and everyone is so friendly. Sometimes I have enjoyed a glass of wine but just as happy with coffee beautifully served. My hair is dry and knots easily but Blanka sorts it out so it stays soft and shiny for ages afterwards. It is wonderful to trust your hairdresser.

Moved back to Nottingham last year, and really struggled finding a good, reasonably priced hairdressing service. Rush are pretty brilliant. Consistent, lovely hairdressers who are more than happy to provide tips for haircare and treatment, and give brill haircuts to both genders and all hair types. My partner has curly hair and is a bit reluctant to go to hairdressers, and he was very happy with the service and products recommended. The rewards system is a really good incentive, and one you don't see often nowadays. I really hope they carry on doing this, because it encourages me to spend more money in the store and gets haircuts more often. Everyone wins! The refer a friend scheme is great too. I also got my hair dyed at Rush. Before, I had a bit of a patchy balayage from an insta hairdresser, and I had a wonderful consultation with a hairdresser who gave me a custom, bespoke service at no extra charge, blending techniques from balayage and crown highlights to suit my hairstyle and shape. I am very happy with it, and recently had my hair toned to a copper which is vibrant and perfect for the summer. Honestly cannot recommend them enough. Update: I recently came in for a trim, and Blanka gave me some really useful advice about clarifying shampoo, as usual, brilliant service with skilled and trustworthy hairdressers.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but the exceptional experience I had here, can’t go unnoticed. I booked my appointment with Ana who is an amazing person and professional. I wanted my hair colored and trimmed. She took her time to understand what I wanted and what my hair needed and explained to me the process and what works for me. She chose a great color for my hair (not the most expensive one they had, which was surprising). I got complemented for it all the time. She also suggested a treatment due to the damaged ends of my hair. Although the color is technically the same of my natural hair, it was very rich and had a great shine to it, probably the treatment added to the healthy shine too. Also, I really appreciate her patience as I changed my mind last minute to have a cut rather than a trim and I appreciate that although I wanted to go really short, she advised me against that. She was right, I love the shoulder length we eventually went with. Finally, she cut the split ends of the new grown hair, which is not the same length of the rest of my hair, and no it doesn’t stick out as much. Can’t recommend Ana enough. If you’re looking for a great hair day, you have to book with her, you won’t be disappointed. Best money spent and best gift to myself!

Right from the beginning I knew I could trust her - she spent about 10 minutes closely examining and talking to me about my hair, how best to cut it and treat it and gave aftercare recommendations. I would like to send a massive thank you to the team at Rush Nottingham and most importantly Nicole! It was my first time getting my hair coloured so I was extremely nervous, but with the help of a colour consultation a few days before my appointment and a strand test I felt a little more confident. Everyone was really pleasant and lovely, however, I think because my appointment was near the end of the day it was a little bit rushed (ironically). Perhaps, with everyone getting their hair cut after the pandemic it has caused lots of appointments in one day. The wash was incredibly brief and quite fast. I went for a cut and finish but I didn't get the option of having my hair straightened or curled which was a shame. Although, I think the finish is quite good; it is expensive when the experience wasn't really provided.

First of all absolutely AMAZING salon. From when I walked in the door to when I walked out I was looked after. All staff was very friendly and polite. They take your coat and hung it up, offered a drink, helped with next appointments etc. Leah did my hair and what an outstanding job she did. I can't thank her enough. First of all Leah introduced herself which I've never had before so that made me smile and eased nerves as my hair was quite long and was going for the big chop! She sat down and listened to what I wanted doing with my hair. She gave me plenty of choices and advised what was best for my hair. She made sure she did her very best and that is exactly what Leah did. I felt comfortable with Leah doing my hair and had no worries at all. The job she did was outstanding! My hair looks really healthy, the cut is lovely! The length and thinning is brilliant. I would 110% recommend going to this hair dresses and have no worries in Leah taking care of your hair. I went here on a recommendation from a friend and I was so impressed! I had Ana do my hair and she was so lovely friendly and professional. I absolutely love my hair and I'm not going to go anywhere else now! After several home box-dye hair kits in red and then dark brown, my daughter decided it was time to go blonde. We had a consultation with Blanka and a strand test and Blanka was incredibly knowledgeable about what processes were needed and what could be achieved. After a day in the salon of a bleach cleanse, olaplex, lightening and toning, my daughter's hair looked absolutely amazing. We're back in 8 weeks for the second appointment. I'd highly recommend Blanka if you're thinking of colouring your hair. Was it expensive? Yes, but worth every penny!

Also had a fusio D treatment done which left my hair nice and shiny. The only thing I wasn't stoked about was that the price they were going to charge me was different to what I was quoted when I rang up and booked, so i'd recommend double checking the price with them before they start on your hair. Other than that it was an excellent experience, nice salon with very kind and friendly staff.

I got a balayage, haircut and blow dry from Andrianna today and it was absolutely fantastic. She asked me what I wanted and did EXACTLY that! Emily is very professional and knowledgable, and takes her time to ensure I am getting the best treatment. Being blonde isn’t easy to maintain, however Emily makes it work seamlessly. Completely in love with this salon! I got my highlights and the kerastase treatment done here by Ana and I am amazed at how well my hair has turned up. I’ve been getting my hair colored for the past 10 years and this is the best it has ever been. She was so thoughtful at considering my hair type and what it needed not only to look beautiful but to be healthy as well! It’s been a few weeks and the blonde is still icy and hasn’t turned yellow, my hair is insanely soft (it’s always been really dry and broken) and call me crazy but I can already see some growth (she also got rid of split ends without getting rid of my length). Already booked my next kerastase and keratin appointment with Ana and I cannot wait! :) *edit* so it's been a couple weeks from my keratin appointment and my hair has never looked nicer / been healthier. i let it dry on its own and it dries smooth and straight on the roots and top part and with a pretty wave mid length to end (my hair is naturally super curly, frizzy, and dry... no way i could ever let it dry on its own and leave the house without this treatment). Definitely saves sooo much time from straightening it and i get to avoid applying heat to it all the time!

Upon entering the venue staff are are very friendly in welcoming you, always asking if you would like a drink while getting your hair cut. When I visited, I ordered a standard haircut and was impressed, I really liked the service especially as the member of staff who cut my hair did a fantastic job. Downstairs is also fully accessible.
