Having struggled to find a barber who could really do what I wanted with my curly hair, I was very pleased to see a barber with a similar texture etc. I was just passing by but went in and managed to set up an appointment with Mia. We discussed what sort of thing I wanted before hand and shared some reference images. She was very professional and knowledgeable. When I went in the experience was top tier from start to finish. Mia was able to translate what I wanted into something that would work with my hair creating an end result that has really wowed me. Throughout my appointment she asked for feedback and made me a part of the process rather than simply feeling like a subject. At the end, Mia convinced me to let her trim and shape up my beard. Something I was a little apprehensive about. The fears were unfounded though as she did a fantastic job that has received many compliments. Following the appointment I was offered after care in the shape of advice on which products will be right for my hair etc. The service was everything I could have hoped for and more and the cut surpassed all expectation. Mia is truly an artist! I cannot recommend her services enough and she has got a customer for life in me now.

Lady Barber is truly phenomenal. Once I traveled all the way from Manchester to get my haircut. Recently moved to High Wycombe and I simply hate every single barber as Eddy has set such high standard in terms of my trims. If you are ever passing Peterborough, do yourself a favor and fall in love with her skills and salon!

Thank you Mia. Second time I have had my haircut from you and I love it. I am very picky with who I choose to do my hair and from now on it will only be you. You are always polite and friendly. But for me the main thing is I have my hair cut the way I want it. You always cut it how I want it and always ask if I want to go lower or have any changes before I leave. I never do because you cut it just how I like it. Anyone wanting a cut or style ask for Mia :)

For anybody looking for a great haircut. I really recommend this place. I forget the name of the lady who cut my hair but she was from Ethiopia and she did a brilliant job. I will return and give this 10/10

Brilliant lady who is really patient. My 2 year old boy had a right melt down on having his hair cut. The lady gave us lots of time and she really did try her best to get my boys hair cut. We tried lots of different ways but my boy just didnt want it doing. Even tho the lady had done half of his hair she did an amazing job AND then refused to let me pay her as it was not complete. I today put the £10 towards Macmillan charity on your behalf. I hope you will have me and my little boy back soon when his having a better day :)

I have been using Eddy Lady Barber since the salon was opened (March 2019) and I always had an outstanding experience there. Always professional treatment: coffee, haircut, beard trim, steam on the face, hot towels on the face, friendly conversation - everything to help you to relax. It’s more like a beauty salon for gentlemen, then just a barber shop. Definitely I will return there again. Highly recommend!

I stumbled upon this barber shop as I was working in the area for over a year , I used lady barber every week without fail , cannot fault the services they provided, both Mel and Harry make you feel so welcome , got wicked wig bash every time , beard shape up and great value . Okay, stop what you’re doing right now. Look in the mirror and pay attention to your reflection. No matter how good you think your haircut looks like - Eddy will make it look better. This Lady is so passionate about her profession and won’t let you leave the premises if she is not happy with her service. Friendly and talented. Doesn’t matter if you’re young, old, straight, lesbian or gay. Come and see lady barber cause she really wants to trim you hair! Gent’s cuts only tho sorry long haired ladies!
