Highly recommend! Loni was very accommodating and managed to fit me in even though I showed up with no appointment. I loved my haircut, he paid great attention to detail and made sure I was happy with the result.

It was my first time at Ida’s. I still had “covid hair”... Loni was fab. Talked through options for my untamable hair. He was really lovely and chatty and had very positive energy to him. I had a hair treatment then he cut styled and straightened my hair. I loved what Loni did. Now I've tried Ida’s I will go keep back and be more adventurous with colour etc.

I’ve been using the same hairstylist for 30 years and when she was unavailable I need to find a stopgap to make sure I looked presentable for an upcoming wedding reception. I wear my hair in a chin length bob, which made me quite nervous about going somewhere new, as the last time I let anyone else loose on my hair the end result was a little disappointing. A shorter bob isn’t a style that every hairdresser does well. I’ve got to say Loni is the “King of cuts”! I’m absolutely delighted with the end result. You would never know that he hadn’t styled my hair before. He also gave me a full colour treatment. I can’t recommend this salon highly enough and will definitely be going back again in the future.

I had the pleasure of having a last minute hair cut with Loni yesterday (8th Feb). He kindly fit me in very close to closing and we ended up having such a great conversation that I didn't even realise he was almost done. Very pleased with my hair. It feels light and healthy and he knows his stuff. Def recommend and visit again.

Best haircut I’ve ever had! The balayage I had was so natural and gorgeous. Loni is a real delight, was like talking to a friend, I’m usually nervous to go to the hairdresser but this experience really made it so much easier will defo be back!

Best haircut I've had in any area. Loni is lovely and makes you feel so comfortable. He really takes time to make sure the cut is fully finished to the best standard. I've never enjoyed a trip to the hairdressers as much as I did at his salon. If you need a new hair stylist/ new to the area and lost for choice, choose this salon!

Had my hair cut and blow dried with Loni today - been a regular client for around 18 months - I have difficult, frizzy hair but as always I am delighted with the result. Haven’t had hair done since February - Loni excelled himself today - the cut and blow dry ( and he cut in a textured fringe) was fabulous. This guy is a terrific hairdresser. He also cut and blow dryer my 84 year old mums hair and took 10 years off of her. We’re both delighted as always.

Not only did he get the colour spot on, but he was so friendly that I even felt I could trust him to trim my split ends. I was encouraged to go by the extremely good reviews, that were true because of the excellent treatment by Loni, but for a man's short haircut is a bit pricey: £22 or £29 including washing it. However, Loni even made me a special price for my first time, £20. All in all, for a man's short haircut I would recommend going somewhere else.

I went to Loni for a true keratin blow dry treatment during a visit to Reading as I have always had frizzy unmanageable wavy hair. The 2.5 hours the treatment takes went very quickly as he has created a very friendly and relaxed environment in the salon. When I left my hair was the smoothest and straightest it has ever looked but wasn't sure how the end result would be after I washed out after 48 hours as instructed. Can now confirm following a wash and air dry that the original curl pattern is looser but still there which I'm pleased with as it can be more easily straightened if wanted or just left as is. Most importantly my hair is much shinier, feels healthier and is completely frizz - free. Worth every penny :) Thank you Loni!

Took my daughter here for the first time to Ida's Hairdressers.i phoned up as I was running late and it wasn't a problem. was so speechless with the results and was exactly what I wanted for my daughters hair.
