Best barber experience of my life to date! Normally really hate getting my haircut due to the fact they never do what you ask for. This leads me to cutting my own hair which obviously furthers the damage. Getting married next year and the wife to be has given me strict orders to grow it out, but just wanted a nice shape up to help me get through the awkward stage. Can't remember his name, but the dude with the epic beard sorted me right out! I explained what I wanted in painful detail, and he reassured me he could fix my mess no problem. The guy before me walked out looking very sharp and very pleased with his cut as well. Really relaxed but professional vibe. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back. Thanks guys.

The team here are so good. I bought my son and daughter with me which is usually a chalk whatever we do but Baxter was so good at keeping the kids happy whilst their hair was cut and whilst I was getting my hair cut. Such a great experience and thanks to everyone at Stone 🙌🙌

I used to work in a shop opposite and had a disaster with home hair dye. Ashley fixed it for me, he has a wicked sense of humour like me so we got along amazingly. I have curly hair so have had some bad experiences in the past, I won't let anyone else touch my hair now. I pity him for my next visit it has 16 months growth throughout lockdown. The rest of the team greet me like an old friend and chat away if I'm nearby. The owners are lovely and I would rather support a local independent business than a chain any day of the week

Been here for many years - always been treated in a friendly and professional manner. Recently had to change stylist as my old one left - I now have Sam who has been great! He has coped with my very fine difficult hair very well and I have had many compliments! Colour and cut have always been good. A little bit pricey - but worth it for the final outcome

I liked the gel nails I had done there last time. Because she was learning, there was a discount of 25% on the full price for gel nails. She was very good indeed. Nevertheless, it is quite hard to get a booking as it is always so busy!

When it comes to getting a haircut, I'm your average bloke, I dont want pampering and having a hair experience. Well that was true until today...for a few quid more than i usually pay i got a head massage whilst sitting in a chair that massages your legs and back. Amazing! I then had a haircut that was done with great skill and care whilst chatting to an animated intelligent lady. Great! Maybe I've turned the corner towards the full experience. I will certainly be going back.

I like to go to stone hair design. They make you feel very welcome and you feel relaxed..Lovely friendly staff. Richard likes Ashley to do do his hair and he only wants to go and have his hair done with him. Emma does my hair and you always get a lovely cheery welcome from her.

I have been going to this salon for over 10 years and I love the service I receive in there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and I have never felt the need to try a different salon. I have my hair cut by a lady called Sue who is fantastic, and I have never had a bad or even average hair cut from her. I would fully recommend this salon for a friendly, stylish and professional experience.
