I came here yesterday to get my haircut and Katie listened very carefully to what I wanted and did not disappoint! I was really happy with the haircut and the overall experience. Furthermore the scheduling system is really useful as I was able to rearrange the appointment a couple of times. And they offer student discount! I highly recommend :)

I have been to different barber shops to have my haircut, showed pictures and gave instruction on how I wanted my hair to be done but always go home disappointed and frustrated with the result. I found and tried this salon and it was Katie who had my haircut. I showed her pictures and provided instruction on how I would like it to be done. I was very satisfied with the result and handled it professionally. I was even told that she will list things she had done for my hair so they would know what to do as I come back.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Their level of detail is second to none, at every stage of the service. Been going to Andreea for years and regardless of what style I ask for she achieves it... and better - every time! Fantastic hairdresser and a credit to the salon. The salon looks classy & professional, the products are great and on top of that since the pandemic their hygiene procedures are better than anywhere I’ve seen. You can really tell they have thought everything through and quality runs throughout the team and brand!

I have been cutting my hair here for 3 years now. The hair stylist was really skilled. Riley was cut my hair in my recent visit and I am very satisfy with the cut and service. Most of all, I like the measure that Men-u used during the covid-19 situation. At first, I was scared to go to a barber as many barber shop did not implement any covid-19 rule. However, men-u has a very good measure for this including 1 on 1 customer in the shop and wearing mask while cutting hair. It makes me feel very safe while in the shop. This is the reason why I have been cutting hair here for more than 3 years.

I have used men-u products for some years now. They are neat, efficient and stylish. That is just how I would describe their Southampton salon (where you can buy all their products). Andrea who cuts my hair there is polite and friendly but stays focussed on the task of cutting and styling so you feel you are getting your money’s worth and not just paying for a nice chat with a quick cut as you get at some places. Very efficient online booking and reminder systems and a generous loyalty system. Highly recommended

I visited the men-u Salon with my two young sons who wanted a stylish cut. Kyle was brilliant with the 8 year old and achieved exactly the style he wanted. Very patient and engaging throughout. I always wanted to find a hair salon where people could come up with styling or cut ideas that would suit me better, but this never happened..until a few months ago when I discovered Men-U Salon and I’ve met Andreea! Her professionalism, devotion, creativity and the bunch of ideas that she came up with regarding my hair style and cut made me become a loyal client of the salon and I would never change it again! Updating my review after today's experience. Previously had an awful experience due to lack of training around equality / LGBTQ awareness. Wrote a negative review. Directors of the company got in touch *immediately* to discuss the issue and offered their sincerest apologies and regrets. Took steps to ensure my genuine wellbeing and offered a complimentary cut, style and advice from a stylist unrelated to the previous issue. Was anxious but I did not need to be. My privacy had been tightly respected as the stylist only knew I'd had a negative experience, without any details. The stylist was polite, friendly, understanding and accomodating, patient with some (possibly basic and a little silly) questions and at no point patronised me or made me feel silly. Great communication with regards to products and techniques used, with detail when questioned as to how best to generate and maintain suitable styles. Good product knowledge and did not needlessly upsell. Will be happy to return.
