Michelle has been colouring my hair for just shy of 3 years now. My hair has a new lease of life after every visit, she knows what will suit my face shape and will guide me towards the correct colours to suit my skin tone. What's even better is the conversation during my time at shades and fades, Michelle has listen to me go on during my good days and bad and I come away feeling so much better. Thanks Michelle for once again making my hair holiday ready 😀😀

I have found my dream hairdresser. We have all had moments where we have been to several salons to be able to have the perfect hair. Well, I had been to a well known chain where I almost felt like I was to blame with how my hair was turning out. I searched and took the plunge finding Michelle on social media. After the first appointment, I was hooked. She understood exactly what I wanted, explaining the processes and the ‘journey’ with having a hair transformation and the steps it can take. I have had so many compliments with my hair since and wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Visited shades and fades for the first time today. My whole experience, from the first message on Facebook to getting my hair done today has been fab! Michelle is so lovely and friendly and really put me at ease. Came to her with an idea on style and colour and she made it 100% better than I ever expected. I never knew my hair could look so amazing! I traveled for over an hour this morning, it was definitely worth the drive! I needed a new hairdresser since my previous one left the trade, Michelle is definitely my new go to! Thank you so much 💗

Finally found a hairdresser that listens to you. Michelle is excellent at her job and i highly recommend her. I took the plunge to put colour into my hair and had so many lovely comments. Whole family visit now including 17yr old son for a fabulous mullet trim.

Michelle is a brilliant hairdresser, my whole family go to her. I get my hair coloured and she does it perfectly so it looks natural. My 7 year old loves going to her too, Michelle has the patience of a Saint, answering all of her questions, which there are many! My 3 year old boy is not a fan of having his hair cut (probably due to his 1st few being me cutting his hair with kitchen scissors during the lockdowns). Michelle manages to distract him and get his hair cut. She has brilliant techniques with difficult children. We won't go anywhere else and highly recommend her.

Michelle did my hair recently for a family wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made me feel at ease. Michelle did a trial first and then we made some tweaks for the final look. My hair stayed put all fay and I received many compliments. Highly recommend her.

I have been going to Michelle for just over 4 years , I first met her when she was mobile and she came to give my little boy his first hair cut. With him being 1, he wasn't exactly a fan of having his hair cut. But everytime Michelle came round she would offer to give him things to hold, tell him he is doing amazing and even cut his hair in the bath one time because he upset. Now at 5 years old he will ask when we are going to see Michelle so he can have his hair cut, he will sit very well for her and that is purely down to her calmness and great approach. So if you are concerned about your child and they have a fear of having their hair cut, Michelle is amazing at easing that fear. I have also had my hair done by Michelle too and I don't know how she puts up with me 😂 the amount of colour corrections she has had to do, especially times where I thought I could go from black with red / brown build underneath to blonde😂 she is a wagician (female magician 😂) . When she does my hair I leave feeling amazing . I do not trust anyone with my hair other than Michelle. So if you want a hairdresser who can do magic and leave you feeling like a new person, Shades and Fades is the way to go🤗
