I absolutely love my hair colour! Rae has done a very professional job. I love that they put toner on my hair afterwards, as this tones down and conditions my hair. Rae is very professional/friendly and helpful with giving advice. All staff at New Wave give Excellent Customer Service! I love the environment of the salon too, where it's split on 2 levels, for colour and cutting. And not forgetting the hospitality of being offered a drink. 10/10

Just wow, today I been to New Wave for the first time and can honestly say that in 37 years of my life I never been to a salon with such amazing and thoughtful staff. I arrived for my appointment and was took trought to the waiting area by a very friendly member of staff, after not a long time Rachel that would be cutting and styling my hair sit down with me and gave me a full consultation about what I wanted for my hair, honestly never been to a salon that done this, was a very pleasant surprise having a stylish that actually takes the time to talk to their clients. After I had my hair washed by another lovely member of staff I was showed to my chair were Rachel meet me a few minutes after, and the magic began. She took in consideration ever point we talked about in the previous chat and cut and styled my hair exactly the way I wanted it. Even got offered a drink and some biscuits. In the end I still got offered some samples of the products used so I could use them to keep my hair in top condition. I will definitely be a regular of Rachel and the salon. Keep up the amazing work girls now I know too why so many people rave about New Wave. Amazing service. Thank you for giving me my confidence back. See you soon.

I used Rae for the first time as my usual hairdresser was not available. I was very pleased with her professional approach. We had a consultation before starting to determine what I did and didn’t like about my hair. I have short hair so it can easily go wrong if the stylist doesn’t know what they are doing. Visited couple days ago. Lovely salon, very clean and all staff friendly. I had a haircut with a Scottish lady( I have forgotten her name) She did my haircut twice now and my colour ( highlights and lowlights). She is so lovely to chat to and most important colour and cut is fantastic each time. I am quite fussy when it comes to my haircut … and it was so good each time! she did it just right! Whilst I am very happy with my hair cut I am not happy at being charged an extra £10 to have my hair blow dried. After my hair was washed it was loosely towel dried and I was left sitting in a chair with soaking wet hair which was dripping down my back. If I was to go back I don’t think I will choose this hairdresser again I will stick with the younger girl I usually have.

Never before have we been treated so normal during my daughters incredibly strong anxiety attacks when out in public. You were just brilliant with us. Rachel has been my hair dresser for years - 25 years to be precise . She is always so pleasant and polite and will always go above and beyond. She takes time and listens to what I want. I have been many shades of different colours from dark to blonde over the years, and Rachel has always been there to offer lots of help and advice. The salon itself is always so spotlessly clean. All the girls are are very welcoming when you go in. It’s by far the best salon in town. Recently bought some hair treatment from there (recommended by Rachel) and it’s bloody fab! Wonderful salon experience. I have a very bright pink and purple colour but always leave with next to nothing on my skin which is fantastic! It's a messy job but they do it wonderfully. I usually have a trainee doing it too and it just goes to show that the training programme is fantastic, especially when done by Tasha, who oversees the trainees the entire time, as I always leave super please and refreshed. I wouldn't go elsewhere.

However since embarking on my curly hair journey I feel that the salon would benefit if they had more training on how to cut and style curly hair. I don't use this salon to get my hair cut anymore as I now go to a curly hair specialist but I love coming here so much I still go here to get my hair coloured

Most recent visit was to welcome the lovely Hannah back from her maternity leave. I wanted a good chop and she delivered, it was even better than I had hoped for. I would highly recommend the salon. New Wave is one of the best Saloons in Wrexham. Anne has worked wonders with my hair since I went in with my lockdown leftovers. Previously I went in for a trim and to talk about putting some copper back into my hair after the old colour has been cut out. To my delight Anne suggested the Goldwell colour revive conditioner treatment as part of my wash. WOW, this product was left in for a few mins and produced my orange lights all over again. I'm delighted with the results and really like the way Anne works with her clients. Today went in for a half head of two colours and a trim. Anne picked the colours perfectly and understand what I'm looking to achieve in the longer term.

The first time I ever got my hair dyed was here, I got blonde balayage and they did an amazing job, the stylist was really friendly and I was really happy with the result. A few months later I returned and got pink balayage, again they were really lovely and I was very pleased with how it turned out. I also bought some of the recommended hair care items they were selling and found that the colour protect/enhancing shampoo and conditioner meant that my hair stayed quite vibrant and in a good condition. I would definitely recommend going here for dye jobs.
