I have been using this business for my haircut for the last 16 years. The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to help, this has recently shown after being wheelchair bound after an accident and the staff couldn't do enough to accommodate me. The price is always fair and the service is top notch hence my repeated custom over the last 16 years. I won't visit anywhere else for my haircut. A real gem a short distance from York City Centre.

I've had multiple hair cuts from this place and had my beard trimmed. Always had a very good job done. Went to one of the most hipster looking places down the road once which charges twice as much and they gave me precisely the same cut. This place doesn't look flash but they're very competent and also very nice people.

I only decided to leave a review after stupidly going elsewhere to have my beard trimmed. I left them a one star after a botch job, and I thought it would be unfair not to acknowledge the excellent hairdressers that you do get in York. Cat and Sarah (name might be wrong) are both superb hairdressers, and I've never left this place disappointed. Highly recommend them. Reasonable too, to boot. I know where to go next time.

Cracking haircut and lovely staff!! Consistently the same every time I go! Now as for the last review- obviously a malicious attempt to complain. Anyone who complains about hair on the floor in a barbers must have issues! The fact is that the place is busy for a reason - because they are good!! People who complain like that need to look at themselves!!
