absolutely in love with my nails and will definitely come again, changed my nail idea half way through and they were lovely about it. my boyfriend had his feet done and he won't stop talking about it and getting me to feel. staff kept checking in to see if I was happy with my nails and i must say that it's been so hard to find a salon that does my nails up to my standard considering i usually do my own acrylic extensions but you've all hit the nail on the head. thank you so much it was an all round lovely experience:))

I travel from Bridgend to Cardiff just to have my nails done here. Stunning nails every time. Staff are all lovely and so accommodating. Appointments and walk ins available. Be prepared to wait if busy as they are very popular but definitely worth the wait. Have had my nails done for years but they've never lasted as long as they do here.

First time getting my nails done and honestly it was very much worth it. Kind staff and very talented. If I still lived here I would definitely get them done on the regular

Walked in and was served within 5 mins (off peak time) ! My nail tech was David and he was lovely. My first time getting acrylics and he helped me decide exactly what to go for. He was also so gentle which is a big plus for me!! I’m so in love with them. Such a beautiful set. Will definitely be back!!

I've been using Golden File for years and they never disappoint! They recreated a design I found on Pintrest today and they did it perfectly. I felt welcome, had a lovely chat and despite it being busy, they kept to my appointment time.

I have been using golden file for some time now and go regularly every month. Today I had my infills but also a pedicure full works which I have every couple of months. Today was exceptional. My feet were scrubbed and scraped 3 rotations to get them soft. The service is much better than anywhere else I’ve been as they really pay attention to detail and take good care of my nails. My previous nail salon could be quite rough especially when replacing nails.

I’m now a regular at Golden File because I’ve never had anything but a great experience with them. The staff are really friendly and will try their utmost to deliver exactly what you want. Probably the best quality acrylics I’ve had in 10 years of getting my nails done.

I visited Golden File Nails after trying hard to find somewhere that would do the nails that I really wanted. The service was fantastic, excellent customer service and the quality of my finished nails are fantastic. I'm Autistic and very bad at making conversation and I was not made to feel uncomfortable at all, I would definitely visit again!

Price charging isn't transparent. There is no price catalog to check the prices, instead staff speaks in Chinese (I think) with the the guy in the front-desk to ask him the cost of every service. This is unacceptable and rude. (They charged me 30 pounds for a simple gel manicure without any design).The tools used are unclean.

Went here for the first time today after needing a quick emergency fix due to another lady doing a terrible job previously 2 days before. I can honestly say this is the best salon I've ever been too! The salon is very clean, cosy and stunning! And super convenient too as they do walk ins, was seen straight away. Helen was very sweet and knew exactly what I wanted and most importantly.. she took her time. She was super gentle with my nails and didn't cut me at all. She kept asking me if the nails were okay. Never been so happy with the service today. Will definitely be returning and refuse to go anywhere else. And it's super affordable too! Really, really happy! Thank you Helen!

Got a file and paint for £10 - Seen really quickly, professional and quick. Friendly staff. Couldn’t fault the service. Shape and colour of nails were really nice. Only thing that they left the underside of my nails quite rough and don’t give moisturiser but that’s personal preference.

just got my acrylics done for £37. so worth it! i showed them a picture and they matched it perfectly. no dents you can’t see where they added the extensions. people there are so friendly as well. so well managed!

Staff listen to you and work quickly. Sadly on my 2nd visit to reapply shellac, I felt my nails were cut badly and it has caused all my real nails to split, causing me to revisit the salon for corrections but as the next 6 days went by, my nails started ripping at the sides bringing the shellac up with it. The manager was happy to provide a discounted removal of shellac to compensate and I do think it was a one off and maybe manicures just aren't for me.
