Z. S.I was going to wait till I had my other appointments before reviewing, so it wasn't just based on one however I felt I couldn’t wait and had enough of an impression to make a fair review.
The salon itself if you haven't been, is misleadingly large, it's like a maze, so many rooms and bits to it, all absolutely beautifully decorated and clean, it's a lovely environment to be in, also great parking options to the side, down the little lane. For this appointment I had a bay pedicure, firstly the treatment was perfect, the products used (scrubs etc) all smelt beautiful, the selection of nail colours was impressive and the end result was perfect.
What I was most impressed by was the staff, Daisy who did my pedicure was brilliant, made me feel relaxed, was friendly and just a lovely person. But literally every other staff member who was passing through the room I was in all smiled, checked if I wanted any water etc, Millie and Ella especially. Made me look forward to my next visit. So thank you very much for a great experience.
N. B.I had a wonderful Indian head massage in beautiful surroundings. After my incredibly relaxing treatment, I was taken to a room to relax for as long as I wanted with a cup of tea, glass of water and a sorbet.
I've since returned for a pedicure and my feet are super soft. There were lots of polish colours to choose from and I received some good advice.
Everything is so nicely decorated and all the staff are very friendly.
Beauty at the Bay truly provides a great experience.
K. L.I went first thing on Saturday morning - the salon was blissful and I relaxed the second I sat down. The beautician was friendly and asked what shape I wanted for nails and also helped me pick a sparkly colour - there were tonnes to choose from!
Wonderful service, wonderful nails and a wonderful experience overall. I have already booked in to try a facial.
A. M.What a place!! I booked for my entire bridal party to come and have their nails and toes done the day before our wedding and what a pamper we had: the girls were AMAZING! So chatty and friendly, we had prosecco in ice buckets waiting to be poured.. it was the most lovely and relaxing experience for the day before a wedding and left me the bride feeling super relaxed and happy and nails were STUNNING. One week later and my nails are still going strong too. Keep doing what you do ladies cos you’re amazing at it!!! Love Amy and the bridal gang x

I didn't want to give below 3 stars as I had a good experience with my first eyelash appointment and the therapist was lovely, but it's just a shame I've been left with very gappy eyelashes that are well overdue for infills and now i'm having to go elsewhere to get it sorted. They need more therapists who specialise in doing eyelash treatments.

S.Me and my husband have had a few massages here now and we love it. i have had the hot stone massage and i was so relaxed and they have beautiful client care with having a lovely little room to relax in before and after your massage, my partner has a sports massage not so relaxing but helps with a past injury he had that causes him pain now and then helps with muscle tension thats caused from his job, he enjoys it and feels so much better after and would highly recommend going here too, overall beauty at the bay is definitely 5* all round and i highly recommend you try out this place if you want a relaxing experience and a decent massage, great for your mind body and soul

It was amazing though! Far beyond my expectations.
The building it’s self is a beautiful old building that is really spacious.
The lady who did the treatment was called Malvena and she was very lovely, skilled and knowledgeable.
The treatment was a really nice facial massage with all different aromas and temperatures and products, then a really nice shoulder massage, but it was all so well done and I felt really taken care of 🙂

Also, I've been there for waxing and to have my eyebrows done and have always been extremely pleased with the quality.

S. S.I had a make up trial today with the wonderful Gemma ready for an upcoming wedding. I am a lady who has never worn makeup apart from a quick swipe of lipstick and mascara so you can imagine I was feeling anxious about the experience.
Well I had nothing to worry about, Gemma was so warm, welcoming and reassuring. She was attentive and listened to my concerns and what I was expecting from the trial. She immediately put me at easy with her bubbly chat and set to work.
A little while later the grand reveal and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Gemma had delivered exactly what I had requested. A beautiful natural look which made me still feel myself but just enhanced my features with out feeling overtly made up. What an asset Gemma is to Beauty At The Bay.
A wonderful experience in a warm relaxing environment with the most amazing team of beauticians. I highly recommend a visit and you won’t be disappointed.

P. D.It's been a while since I visited and posted these images. But Beauty at the Bay deserves to let me describe the fantastic experience.
First off - I was booked in for a full massage (Swedish) as a present after a stretch of pretty tiring work.
Secondly - This was to be my first ever massage or beauty/therapy treatment and I was quite nervous.
The ladies at front desk put me right at ease, were friendly and welcoming - whilst I was still nervous (I don't know why, I just was ok!) they didn't make me feel like I was out of place or unwelcome as a one off (ish) customer.
Next I was taken to the waiting/relaxation room. And to be honest I'd quite happily book an hour session of just sitting in there! Soft lighting, gentle mood tones, a drink and comfortable chaise lounges make up the room. In which I was left for a short time to breathe.
Then the massage itself.
My masseuse was Harleigh, which I feel needs to be said, because she was amazing. Again putting me totally at ease and explaining what the massage would involve. As well as checking any allergens, etc prior to the session.
I made myself comfortable and she went to work on a good few years of knotted muscle.
For those who've had a Swedish massage before, you'll understand when I say it was fantastic (but at times painful!). This is to be expected! Harleigh worked on knots and taught muscles that I didn't know I had, and I left feeling...if not better...improved.
Post massage was back to the relaxation room for a moment to recover, and a complimentary fruit tea and scoop of sorbet (both, very appreciated).
I would go to BatB again
I WILL go again. I just wish I could go more.
They offer a whole range of services and therapies as well, so worth checking their website and see what they have on offer. If it was all as good as this massage, I'd give a thumbs up to everything.
