I have been going to Bamboo Boutique for a few years and Donna, Joanna and the hair dressing team are fantastic. You feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Most recently I tried laser hair removal. I’ve seen a huge difference after just one treatment and it was completely pain free!! The salon has also been great with the covid pandemic. The salon is always spotless and I’ve always felt completely safe.

Bamboo Boutique is warm, welcoming, and professional. Their services and attention to detail are incredible and very affordable. I get my legs, bikini, and eyebrows waxed bi-weekly. Each and every time, I am welcomed with a smile, high-quality products and both Donna and Joanna take care to ensure that I feel comfortable and pain-free. The cherry on top? As a regular customer, I enjoyed on-the-house cocktails made by Joanna every Friday. As a student, I could not have asked for anything better!

I have very sensitive skin and Donna immediately understood how to handle it. I did not feel any pain during the waxing. Furthermore Donna did a perfect job. Besides receiving an excellent treatment, I also enjoyed it. I think of the beauty salons where the beauty therapists would tell me that I felt pain because my skin was too sensitive and I had to put up with it. It was a nightmare to wax. I always felt uncomfortable because of my sensitive skin. I am glad I don't have to suffer any more thanks to Donna, a professional who loves her job very much.

Can’t recommend Bamboo Boutique enough! I visit them every six weeks for the last few years now, for my bikini and recently I started my laser hair removal on my legs. It’s pain free 100% and I’m serious. You feel nothing! Joanna is amazing and I’m really happy to see her growing professionally in a healthy business like Bamboo Boutique where Donna has put all of her self into! Most of my clients are their clients now and this makes me really happy! I've been to a lot of beauty salons but this one is by far the best experience I've ever had. The staff were all immensely caring and made me feel very comfortable. I was really impressed and felt safe due to the high standard of sanitation - they wiped down surfaces and seats after each customer really thoroughly and offered hand sanitizer multiple times throughout my nail appointment. The staff really went above and beyond with perfect attention to detail and made my nails look absolutely beautiful. The prices are also genuinely great for the amazing quality of service you get. I can't recommend this place enough, will definitely be coming back!

I visited Bamboo Boutique on 27/05. Donna was quite helpful in aiding me on what my skin needed to look smooth and clean (my two main concerns), given my lack of knowledge. She was explaining to me what she was doing and why, and also giving me tips on how to improve my skin condition. I had the Microdermabrasion treatment as well as some peeling performed and I must admit that my skin hasn't looked so smooth and nice in years. Also, I have quite sensitive skin and from experience the redness from a cleansing facial lasts a few days (I usually look quite sunburned). However, this time, the redness this time was not so bad (more of a pink than red) and it had disappeared completely by the morning of the next day.

I cannot recommend this boutique highly enough! The salon is very clean and comfortable, and the welcome from Joanna and Donna is warm and friendly. I have been a number of times and it has been consistently the best waxing I have ever had with very little pain and great attention to detail.

Went today for the full body Swedish massage. Service was Unbelievable, hands down the best experience getting massaged I've ever had! The salon was so beautiful! Donna was so so lovely! Honestly the most lovely group of people! Make you feel so welcome the minute you walk through the doors. Had a facial on my first visit and my skin was glowing after (was so nice to treat myself!). Then my skin continued to get better and better for days! Booked in again for another facial and nails and I am so excited! Also refreshing that you don’t feel like they are trying to upsell everything to you. You can just go in and relax!

I got the Yumi lash lift and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I have had several lash lifts done before, and none have ever looked as amazing as this one. The service was incredible, everyone there was super friendly and professional. My Yumi lash lift was 55 pounds and it came with a lash conditioner and a massage. It's a great price for amazing service. I will definitely be going back soon because it was by far the best experience I've ever had at a Boutique/Salon.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing my first “proper” experience was with Donna and waxing. I don’t think there is anyone to be as terrified and scared of bikini waxing. It was my biggest fear and nightmare. I was recommended by a friend as I was tired of shaving over and over again. Donna is the most welcome beautician I’ve ever met. Donna came highly recommended to me by a close personal friend for male grooming treatments, specifically waxing and a manicure. I've been going to Jayme for last few years and time and time again she does not disappoint. She's friendly and professional and her attention to detail is second to none. She always tries to go the extra mile and on this particular occasion I went last week and she told me she was going to give me an intensive treatment and scalp massage and she wasn't going to charge anymore for my cut as she said she had the time to do it, which I was rather impressed with. She even used essential oils during my head massage and I was made to feel special. To add to this the rest of the staff are also so welcoming and makes you feel at ease and relaxed as soon as you step in the door. I would highly reccomend Jayme at Bamboo Boutique!

Beautiful salon in Edinburgh. Donna, a smiley and friendly beautician, was great at doing shellac on my nails. No sanding down the nails so they become thin and broken, which is common with shellac! From the outset I can advise that the very warm and friendly welcome you will receive does not diminish over time. Nor does the professional service. Hygiene was always paramount even before COVID and the extra measures now in place - e.g air cleansing machines shows how serious this business is in ensuring you will feel completely safe during your visit. The beautiful decor and calming atmosphere allows you to relax completely to the sound of soothing music played during your treatment. I would not consider going anywhere else for my treatments and I’m sure once you have been you will understand why.
