Jo was extremely professional with my haircut, from suggesting on the cut depending on my volume and texture to care suggestions, I got tons of inputs throughout my haircut appointment. I really loved the outcome, I am new to the UK and I think I have found my hairdresser in Edinburgh 😊 It was absolutely delightful talking to and getting the hair done from Jo, super happy and satisfied!! I have never had so many compliments on my eyebrows and nails until I started going to JM Waxing. I almost feel the need to my double appointments - 1 for the treatment and 1 for the chats and giggles. It’s always a pleasure going to JM Waxing and that shouldn’t be the case with when someone is waxing you’re hair. Thank you so much as always Jo!

Her salon is beautiful and chic, and it's clear that she has put a lot of thought into designing the experience for her clients. I'm so glad to have her and this salon on Leith Walk, where we are lacking in quality beauty services! Also thank you for stocking the best nail polish shades; as a brown person I was getting tired of having to choose between 3 nude polishes, none of which cater to my skin tone. Jo believes in inclusivity and I'm happy to be a regular.
K. T.It’s just perfect every time. I’ve been going to Jo regularly for years and I have recommended her to dozens of pals who have moved here. I get shellac and waxing there. The new location is stunning, it’s incredibly well finished so it feels super clean and fresh, but of course with Jo’s styling it’s also glam and luxurious. Spa vibes. I’ve no idea how she does it but the waxing genuinely isn’t too painful. I’m the biggest wuss I know and even I’ve managed to get to the point where I can just chat away while getting my bikini done! It’s the only place I’ve been to that genuinely does after care too, so I would recommend if you’ve had any reactions before. I’ve never had a bad experience there, it’s always been lovely. You can book through Treatwell which makes it a doddle too. Jo is professional, hugely talented at what she does, organised (I’ve never been seen late or had to get bumped), caring, and a great laugh. 10/10 would recommend.

A.Went there for waxing and the staff are all so so lovely! Made me feel really comfortable and talked with me all the way through and made the experience fun instead of daunting. The salon is really beautiful and one of the rooms has been decorated by one the staff members themself, really ethereal. The salon itself is really clean and stylish. Would recommend to others as well! Make sure you make an appointment beforehand!

Cannot recommend JM Waxing enough - whether or not you're looking for a new salon - it's almost pain free - using Lycon wax - Jo is amazingly friendly, welcoming & the best waxer - a cold compress is used, which reduces pain further. She's efficient & quick - stripping off is not embarrasing here. Try this salon - you need Jo in your life!
