I have been going to Alice’s Studio for the last 6 months for my laser hair removal and I would highly recommend! I am soon to be going for my final session and I am already extremely happy with the results, on top of this I have always received a friendly and professional service and can always book appointments for the times I wanted. (While you’re there get your nails done as they do the prettiest nail art).

They offer a wide variety of services with well-trained staff, ranging from custom designed nails through to waxing & laser. They always go above & beyond when it comes to accommodating clients for last minute appointments & invest personally in getting to know each of their customers. Looking forward to my next visit!

I visit Alice’s studio for pedicures, acrylic nails and most recently a the Elemis facial. The facial was amazing and left my skin feeling very smooth and instantly glowing, would definitely recommend! The service is always fantastic, best salon about!

I really do like this place. It’s clean and has a great ambience. I’ve had many treatments here but every time I get a gel manicure it starts chipping the first week.. I was told to get the IBX treatment because my nails are thin. So last week I paid extra for the treatment. But my nails chipped again. I went back and a lovely employee put on a new coat for me. But the next day they chipped again. When I pay £36 for a manicure I expect it to last two weeks without me having to manage it everyday. :(

I have been coming to Alice`s Studio for over 8 months now for mani`s, pedi`s, LVL and laser and every time I visit I am never disappointed. As a fellow Beauty Therapist (18yrs experience) I would label myself as "nightmare customer" because my standards are so high. I have to say that not only are the Therapists highly professional and clearly very well trained, they take great care in every treatment they give and this shines through in the results they achieve. I recently purchased a course of 6 sessions for underarm laser and have been blown away by the the results, even after my second session the re-growth was minimal- (makes me wonder why I didn't do laser before) The treatment is short, painless and highly effective. I cant wait to finish my course and finally be hair free! A massive THANK YOU to all the therapists.

My friend told me about the new nail place near the Shell garage that opened before Xmas so I gave it a go today and I'm so happy with my renewed acrylics, the service was really friendly, the salon is bright, spotless and beautiful. I now goto Alices studio for my nails done every time. The guys there are amazing at what they do and their nail art is always great. I recently went for their Elemis Facial. It was an hour and 15 just over time. It had around 8 steps from memory and the most thorough facial I have ever had. Would highly recommend for this treatment as well as my usual!

Wow! They are not kidding when they say their laser hair removal is painless and effective. I have had 3 sessions and despite my light coloured hair I already notice a significant difference. I have told lots of my friends- highly recommend. I've also had mani/ pedis at Alice's- also fantastic.

Best nail salon I have been to. The whole team are so professional and friendly too. They really care about the work they do and they are so talented with the range of styles, shapes and products they can do for your nails. I have been going here every 3 weeks for 18 months now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Plus they have a loyalty card scheme which gives you money off after so many visits. Tracey and the team are amazing, I’m so glad I found them! I would highly recommend!

I chose Alice Studio’s for my bridal nails and was completely over the moon with the results! I have short nails due to work and so opted for the gel nail extensions, a French manicure and a little bling on the ring finger! So much care was taken over my manicure and pedicure. I have always enjoyed coming to this salon. The staff are efficient, friendly and professional. They offer a wide range of colours on gel nails as well as ordinary manicures and pedicures and they always take great care of me when I go in. I love coming to Alice's Studio, its my closest nail salon, but by far the best. The staff are really lovely, and you can collect stamps every time you come to get money off in the future. They have a large range of colours and nail art options, whilst provided high a quality service.

I've been here twice for waxing. First experience was really good so decided to come back. Second time was shortly after re-opening post-lockdown. Docking 1 star because for some reason the technician waxed more than I had asked for (and what my appointment was for) and this cost more than I was expecting to pay. Also, I had to wait c 15 minutes even though I had an appointment (but it was busy so I understand).

I didn't really want to write a review of the new Alice's Studio because it's so good I wanted to keep it to myself. However out of loyalty to Alice and her sister Tracy (family run business) here I am. I cannot recommend Alice's Studio highly enough. I have lived in Balham for 20 years. This is the best Nail and Beauty studio on the block, in fact in a 2 mile radius, and believe me I have tried them all. Clean, efficient, accommodating, friendly and superb treatments. I have 4 girls 20 -15 who are total converts (the prices fit their budgets) and very picky. Its 5 out of 5 from me and them.

I decided to have my eyebrows microbladed and there isn't a better place in London I could have gone to. Alice is extremely expert and passionate about the job and the results were just unbeliavable. My eyebrows are now nicely shaped and fuller than before and most importantly they look so natural! I was sceptic to have it done as I had seen a lot of bad ones around, but once I saw those Alice had microbladed I had no doubts and completely trusted her. It's not only her expertise but also the quality of the products she uses. If you want to give a new beautiful natural look to your eyebrows this is the place to go!!!!

This is the best nail salon this side of the equator - after moving from Sydney it took me 8 months to try everywhere else around Clapham/Balham before I found this gem. It's also one of the few places that does decent gel powder/SNS. Their attention to detail is unparalleled and they never rush the process. I've never had so many compliments on my nails and now known for my glam claws.
