I cannot recommend Milano highly enough. I've been coming to this salon for several years and I've had a haircut by every single one of the stylists and it's hard to say who's the best one. They are all incredibly skilled and professional. I no longer live in the area but I still come back to Milano.

I haven't found a better place to have gents haircut yet. It is definitely worth the money. Haircuts are done professionally so even if your hair grows, it still looks good, and as a result you don't have to visit barbers that often (in comparison to local barber shops)

After trying around 6 different hair dressers in Balham/Clapham over a period of years, I finally found Milano's and love it! I've always had Fabio and ask for him - he has really good attention to detail, is really friendly and listens to what I want. I've found that other hair dressers don't listen to what I want and charge more for a haircut I'm not happy with. I've recommended Milano's to all my family and friends

Another great visit and I found out the name of the lovely man who does my hair, it's Michael. He did another wonderful job and I had the most divine (almost 10 minute!) hair wash and head massage with the lady who works there, whose name I didn't catch. They take such great care and time to make sure the cut and dry is perfect. Highly recommend

Came here for the 1st time and I can say it won't be my last , but will be my regular place to get my hair done. 1million times recomend. My hairdresser was good and attentive to my needs as when it come to my hair I trust a professional more than my own opinion.

My mom got highlights here last year summer. She had colored hair which she had dyed herself quite a while back, so her dark natural hair was growing back along with a couple grey hairs too. Milano done such an amazing job at highlighting! It was really pretty and honestly it made my mom look so much younger?? You couldnt see any greys at all and a few months later, she got it redone and it was like her hair stayed the same for 3 months. Amazing stylists and the ambiance of the salon was relaxing.

Thank you for such an amazing hair cut and overall experience!! It's a week on and I've had so many compliments already. I have ridiculously thick long hair and after so, so many bad experiences with hairdressers ruining my hair (in an attempt to thin it out) I'm always really nervous to try somewhere new. I have just moved to Balham and was looking for a regular hairdresser I could use. The reviews of Milano were heads and tails above the ones of other salons in Balham and so I took the plunge and booked an appointment. I am so glad I chose them because I couldn't have wished for a better service. My hairdresser (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) was so nice and cut my hair with such attention to detail. I was there for 2 hours and although the haircut wasn't the cheapest I've had (I'm always tempted to go for 50% off offers from chains) it was certainly one of the best!! I don't usually write reviews but thought if there's any other people out there nervous to try a new hairdresser in Balham please don't be if you choose Milano. Thanks again.

Absolutely cannot rate this place any higher, excellent service, great value and they know what they are doing. So professional, it’s taken me years to get the colour I wanted and they have delivered I cannot recommend this more to anyone who needs their hair looked after. Please book in for an appointment you will not be disappointed

After having my hair destroyed by another hairdresser(killed my hair with bleach), I went to Fernando for the first time to help get my colour and health back, and I'm so glad I chose him! Perfect colour of blonde highlights, and he gave me a treatment that made my hair feel better.. although I know it's going to take a lot of work to get it back to where it used to be. But I'm glad I found someone I can trust in London. The place is really cute too :)

Was looking for a decent place to get a haircut and through google I stumbled across Milano and decided to try it out. Outstanding service, as mentioned in other reviews it started off with a head wash/massage followed by the haircut. I was very impressed by the staff's attention to detail and I am glad that I now have a place I can go to regularly for a haircut that I actually like. Very much recommended!

Arrived from Australia with a colour disaster!! (Due to a last minute cancellation by my regular hairdresser, and an incompetent replacement) . As I came to the UK for a family wedding, I was naturally upset. Fernando saved the day by giving me a great colour!! (and blow wave). I felt he actually listened to my requests, and was very warm and friendly, as we're the rest of staff!! Visited the salon 3 times during my stay. Fernando was lovely, he opened the shop just for us at late notice. They use organic natural products and did a great regrowth dye on my mum's hair, and a lovely cut and blow on myself. Good value for money, lovely relaxed vibe, and great service :)

My fiancée jessica smith had hair cut and couloured here on tuesday has been rather down in dumps alot of late but came home a brand new person so bubbly excited and very happy happiest have seen her in such a long time she had quite drastic transformation and it looks encredible she left house with dull long blonde hair had shoody hair cut few months back that done her no justice and came home with really awesome funky feminine and sophisticated hair stlye short with lowlights and highlights. That is so versatile most versatile and best cut and colour ever had very pleased Jessica always been funny about her hair be cut and never had for years has not found hairdresser she trust and is estatic that she finally has a decent hairdresser she can trust she is so excited to go back to have other treatments and when she due back to have colour and style maintained. Very very happy custumers worth every penny to see such a smile on her face that has not faded since went to salon a smile that I have missed so much happy to have my jess back. found this salon on google maps as I was looking for a decent stylist locally in Balham, probably wouldn't have found it otherwise as it is a bit tucked away in a mews on Balham High road.
