I came for a full face lycon face wax costing me £30 and when I go home to see the waxing oil has dried out I find I still have facial hair left on my face which means it hasn’t been done properly which is a shame as I paid that much for it. Really disappointing, really not happy with the service, I feel as the lady had rushed as it was early hours of the day but that doesn’t excuse anything.

As soon as I walked into the shop I felt extremely welcome. I have eczema on my hands and the gentleman kindly let me use their sink to wash my hands rather than anti bacterial wash which triggers my eczema. The lady who did my wax was actually the First Lady to ever wax me at Ria about 10 years ago! It was like time never passed. We chatted and laughed, honestly I didn’t feel any pain. I had an amazing experience at Ria Beauty this morning. I had a shellac manicure done today for the first time and I'm in love with the results, such a huge selection of colours and they do nail art too! The massages especially are my favourite treatment and are helping with my bad back since working from home. Also - since opening after lockdown, Ria's has implemented new covid safety measures to make the salon safe. 100% recommend!

I called up to find out if they did nose piercings. The lady informed me that they do with both gun and needle. I was able to just roll up with no appointment which suited me fine. The registration for piercing was thorough. The guy who did piercing knew exactly what he was doing and it was over in minutes. Only downside to this place is they don't have a loo.

I use to get strip waxing which was very painful, they lady's always recommended that i fo hot wax due to type of hair i have. I wished I had listened sooner my gosh what a difference. I have had to leave an “ok” review even though I was told before leaving to “please give a 5* review”. Actually came after reading all the positive reviews but now I realise these are mostly for eyebrow threading... Firstly I found that the treatment I received was over priced. I had a manicure, pedicure and skin brightening facial. I’ve been to other places and have had the same quality facial for £30 as opposed to £50 paid here and had better manicures and pedicures at the Chinese salons for £31 as opposed to £45. Not to mention when I asked for french tips I was told I’d have to pay an extra £8. As opposed to £2 I would have paid elsewhere. From this aspect it was expensive. However, the actual facial was very relaxing. Nice room, relaxing music and the therapist took care of me and advised me on skin care. I initially booked a manicure and pedicure online from treatwell. Then I called the salon directly to ask if I can have a facial as well. This was after reading their website which stated a special offer of “receive £17.50 worth of skin care products with facial”. The skin care products on offer were the same used in the facial so it would have been great to receive them also to continue the regime and see how much difference it made. Not to mention it attracted me to book the facial in the first place as I thought paying £50 would be balanced out with the “free gift”. Unfortunately, they dismissed that offer and instead made efforts to actually sell the products to me including the free one I should have received. I was bitterly disappointed as they attempted to do this during the treatment and then before I was leaving also. When I mentioned about the free gift they said it’s only for their customers and not treatwell customers. Even though I had booked the facial directly with them. Overall the manicure and pedicure was decent but could receive the exact same service in the Chinese shops for a lot less money. I found Ria beauty had friendly staff but they were expensive and misleading. I have been trying to find a decent salon that I can visit monthly for a facial, manicure and pedicure. So disappointed that I’ve had to cross Rias off my list.

Like so many other reviews that I've read here, I've been coming to Ria for what feels like a million years (back when there was still the mini brow bar on the Ridley Road Market exit!), and they're always brilliant, whether it's for waxing, threading, massages or nails. Would highly recommend — and they're always busy, so don't rely on showing up without an appointment unless it's an early weekday morning (that said they'll always do their utmost to accommodate you).

I have never had a better bikini wax! I had the hot extended bikini wax and I would 100% recommend this salon. It was super quick (took around 15 minutes for bum and inner bikini line) and even though I have a low pain threshold it truly wasn't that painful due to the beauticians quick way of working. They are really great at working with thick stubborn hair (which mine is) and ensuring that nothing is left. I would really recommend this salon, they are also very affordable and friendly!

I love this place, been coming here for around 4 years and can't recommend it enough. I come here for eyebrow threading, henna tattoos and massages - The ladies are wonderful, great value for money and the treatments are fantastic, particularly the Indian head massage, which is divine. I wasn't able to get an appointment here for the first few weeks after lockdown lifted as Ria Beauty was completely booked out, so I had to book another massage elsewhere - nothing to the quality and care I usually get here and on top of that, I was also charged a lot more. Not going to be going anywhere else if I can help it. These are a group of lovely people who really care about giving you a relaxing experience and lifting your day. Highly recommended and delighted to see them so busy, they deserve it.

She did an excellent job. The only two things I have observed are the opening time of 10:00 am is rather late especially on a Saturday an earlier opening time of perhaps 09:30 would be more favourable. Secondly staff need to be mindful of speaking amongst each other in a different language. Most customers find that unnerving. Overall, I do like Ria Beauty and the next step will be trying their facials and massages.

The service for eye brow threading is walk in only which makes it very convenient to drop by when I need to, the wait is usually only a few minutes but never more than 10-15 minutes at busy times. The threading was perfect the therapist was very softly spoken, very polite and made sure I was ok when tears started flowing down my cheek, which happens everytime its threaded. Went into ria beauty for my daughter to have her eyebrows threaded and I have to say i was very impressed. The man at the front was very welcoming and we got seen within two minutes of entering. However I wish I could say the women doing the theading was more pleasant, she did a verying good job but could of been more friendly and talkative she was very blunt and didn't really say much. However that aside we will defently be returning.
