What a beautiful salon and amazing vibe in there. Everyone smiled at me and made me feel welcomed and relaxed. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone. Really pleased with my hair. Needed root tint to cover greys and also wanted Balayage for a natural lightening effect plus a conditioning Olaplex treatment. Monica spent a lot of time listening to what I wanted and made sure she got it exactly right. Would definitely recommend!

I came here after having a bad experience with another hairdresser and Monica slotted me in at short notice at the end of the day. She fixed my haircut and made me feel so much better about my hair. She evened it out and made it look stylish. She listened carefully and gave me a great cut. I thought she was brilliant and will definitely get my hair cut by Monica first from now on.

Went for the first time today and it was such a great experience, would totally go back! Amazing service and the lady who cut my hair was so gentle and sweet, best of all she did a wonderful job and was checking in with me throughout the cut making sure I was happy with everything. Couldn't fault them :)

I don't really like my hair washed so to find a place that does a dry cut was great for a start. And the price was so reasonable! I genuinely had one of the best haircuts of my life here I got so many compliments afterwards is was unreal. Despite asking for something similar from a much more expensive place before I was listened to more here and really had the time put in to make sure the fringe length was what I'd be happy with and the result was much better. What I would say is that they're only only booking system is actually through treatwell (which I didnt realise at the time it's a bit hidden) and they take a massive cut of something awful like 30% so if you do want to book it would be better to ring up directly so they don't lose out on what is already a really good value service.

This is a secret gem of Lewisham. I get my hair done here every time and can't believe the quality for the price. Men's haircut + shampoo and conditioner, scissor cut for £15! I have the same experience for £40 in other salons and this is better. Well done, and keep up the great work S & N. :)

A big thank you to Ada for sorting out post-lockdown mess on my head! A haircut, lovely warm brown colour and a few highlights made me feel like a new woman. Ada always gives me a good advice (without being pushy) and I'm always a very satisfied customer (this was my third appointment with her). I like the fact that she keeps customers' records so if you fancy changing something next time, she knows exactly what was done last time.Thank you also to Monica for trying to make a longer appointment to accomodate highlights for which I didn't originally book. These girls seem to work as a team, no matter who does your hair, customer's satisfaction is their priority. My first time here and I would definitely recommend. Monika was great! She was so friendly, efficient and helped me pick a new colour for my hair as I wasn't confident with what to go for. I had total trust in her to do my balayage and cut and I love it! It's a reasonably priced service as well. I've only ever been to the bigger chains where they charge you more for a below par service. I will definitely be coming back here!

I visited Scissors & Nails for the first time for a Manicure 2 1/2 weeks ago after reading fantastic reviews on multiple sites. I booked rather last minute on Treatwell and a reply came through within the hour. My beautician was Roxy, and OMG is she fantastic! So personal, professional and knowledgeable. I was surprised that such a Luxurious treatment cost the same as my previously used 'run of the mill' nail salon. Scissors & Cuts and Roxy will be my 'go to' from now on. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I visited Scissors & Nails for the first time today. I was met with a warm welcome by Andrew who was very polite and hospitable. I had not had my nails done in over 10 years so was a little apprehensive at first but my mind was put at ease as soon as I met Roxy, a amazing nail technician who was very professional, patient and friendly and talked me through the whole process. Roxy listened to what I wanted, made suitable recommendations and took her time, she did a fantastic job with my nails I'm so pleased with them. Treatment unbeatable!! My appointment was right on time and the staff were so caring and lovely~❤Mary was amazing! This place is a hidden gem! Great affordable cut, cute salon and lovely stylists. I booked spontaneously the night before on Treatwell as I fancied a change. I went from long dull hair to a short 'choppy' wavy bob. I don't know my hairdresser's name (blond guy) but he was great, so quick and neat! He gave me a really lovely cut. However, I will say the styling of the cut initially freaked me out as it was sort of straight and curled in at the ends which made me look much, much older :( however after a wash and styling it with products specifically for wavy/curly hair I love it! I've got lots of compliments on it too! So overall great cut, very efficient and lovely salon. My only piece of (constructive) feedback would be to work on styling wavy/curly hair but this is a very, very minor thing. Thank you, I will be back when I need a trim! :)

I am really happy with my haircut by Ada. She is really friendly and quick. The whole process only takes about 30 mins Inc washing and rough dry. It is really good during COVID-19, as I don't want to stay in for too long.

It's the little things...super thorough shampoo, head massage, great cut and the colour was exactly what I asked for (chocolate brown and not too dark!) Had a wonderful experience getting a mani and pedi. Roxy was a great nail tech. She greeted me when I walked in and I was quickly taken for my pedicure. She did a great job on both the mani and pedicure and she was very nice to chat with. She was also very knowledgeable and suggested an alternative to acrylic which wasn’t as detrimental to my nails. If you want a nice calm, clean and comfortable setting definitely go to Scissors & Nails.

Now, I've found my manicurist for life lol until Mariana retires I shall keep going to 'Scissors & Nails'. Mary is a skilled beauty therapist who knows exactly what she is doing and I'm completely OCD about my nails. Any scuff, mark, smudge, and I'll notice. Not with her! Shes amazing and you'll not be disappointed. Owner is friendly and pleasant and does amazing hair cuts! You'll not be disappointed on the hair side too.
