Sophie did my makeup and the bridesmaids makeup for my wedding this July and she was absolutely wonderful. I truly felt the most beautiful that I have ever felt, which is what every bride dreams of on their wedding day! How Sophie did my makeup was just perfect. Sophie highlighted my natural features beautifully and she has such a gentle and attentive manner. Sophie truly was such a blessing on my wedding day.

Sophie is an absolutely fantastic makeup artist! She did my makeup for a wedding two weeks ago and I couldn’t believe the transformation in my face and how amazing my makeup looked. I could never have created anything like it by myself. Sophie was professional, friendly and a really easygoing person to chat to, which is an added bonus when you are together for a couple of hours. At the wedding I got so many compliments and felt really special, I couldn’t stop looking in the mirror! I just wish Sophie’s schedule allowed for her to do my makeup every morning :) Highly recommend and will be using Sophie’s services again for my next special occasion.

Sophie did my make up for my wedding day and it was one of the best decisions I made - I would 100% recommend her. I chose to have a make up trial, and Sophie was good and listening and then advising, so I completely trusted her when it came to the big day. My bridesmaids also had their make up done - and they were also very happy with their faces for the day! Sophie was very calm, friendly, and turned up early to ensure that we all had enough time. All of our make up stayed in place really well, many commenting and asking us how it was possible for the make up to still look so fresh by the end of the evening! Looking forward to the next event/wedding I have to go to where I can find an excuse to ask Sophie to do my make up again! Thanks so much Sophie.

I've recently had Sophie over for my wedding makeup trail, Sophie is everything that you would want from a makeup artist and more! Sophie is an amazingly talented make up artist who is always positive and smiling - she put me at ease the second I met her - I felt so comfortable with her. For my make up trial she made suggestions and guided me through what would 'work' and what suited me; on my wedding day she arrived early and was happy to do the make up of some others in my wedding party even though they hadn't booked her in advance - we were all delighted with our make up and how well it lasted through the day and evening. Sophie has since done make up for many of my friends and even for my young children - everybody is always so impressed with her work, her gift and her attitude. Highly recommend to anybody!!

Sophie did me and my friends makeup for a 21st Birthday night out. I felt so welcome and comfortable the moment she let us into her home and I can’t wait to go back. Sophie was really realistic and not only did she do my makeup flawlessly, through the process she have me loads of chances to change and touch things up differently (obviously I didn’t as it was perfect) but that reassured me and made me so relaxed, the makeup look she did really fitted well with my eye colour, face shape and skin tone. 10/10 makeup artist and 10/10 hospitality. I can't put into words how helpful and patient Sophie is as a makeup artist, she was my trainer at Mac and I would not be where I am without a lot of her time and effort. She is such a flawless effortless makeup artist, she makes it all look so easy, but on a one to one basis she will never hesitate to take time to explain and help you build your own confidence. I would highly highly recommended soph for any occassjon, and would definitely say if you ever wanted to improve or even just get guidance to become a makeup artist or just for your own sake I'd book a one to one with her. From start to finish, Sophie was so lovely and professional! Sophie listened to everything I had asked for, making sure we were happy with it all every step of the way. For example, I told Sophie how quite often the flash photography causes flash back. Sophie ensured this would not happen- and it did not ! Sophie went through everything as she was using the products, even giving me some tips ! My fav part was my eye shadow-using colours I would never have thought of using on my eyes- it was such a good experience ! I’m so glad I got in contact with Sophie as I will defiantly be using her again in the near future. Thanks for making me fabulous :)

I had the absolute pleasure of having a 121 MUA lesson with Sophie recently. I came across Sophie's work on Instagram and as soon as I saw her work I knew I had to learn with her. Her work is absolutely beautiful and so, so precise. There is so much competition nowadays but Sophie really does stand out in the crowd with her amazing attention to detail and passion, both of which are clearly displayed from her portfolio. Sophie was so welcoming and from my initial email enquiry through to my lesson she was so keen and interested in what I wanted to learn. This, I feel, is a huge difference in Sophie's teaching style and sets her apart from other 121 artists, she really cares and wants to help you learn and do a good job. Listening and encouraging from the first brush stroke. Sophie encouraged hugely on areas I felt unconfident in and took her time to explain things in different ways, in an encouraging and un-patronising way. We laughed so much throughout the 3 hours , it really was such a great lesson. Sophie really does care about doing a good job and nurturing those who learn with her. Having worked for MAC for so long her product knowledge is unbelievable and she gave me so many tips and tricks and even solved my mascara misery! I can't wait to book in for another lesson and I cannot recommend Sophie enough to those wanting to learn from a real pro, she really is amazing. Now maybe it's time to find a boyfriend so she can do my wedding makeup....

The journey from South Wales was definitely worth it!! Sophie is not only an excellent MUA but she is also just as talented as a tutor. I am a total novice and was somewhat lacking in confidence to start with but after our 1:1 session, I can honestly say that it has given me a ton of confidence to move forward with my own plans to become an MUA. The session was tailored to my needs and what I felt I wanted. Having said that, Sophie gave me so much practical advice that I didn't even know I should have asked for.
