Chrysa is awesome! I did a gel manicure the shape she did for me elongated my nails, chose an awesome colour too with beautiful nail design. Salon is clean, on time and all the staff are polite, professional and super friendly.

I can’t stress enough how happy I am with both my manicures and gel nails so far! My biggest concern as a queer male was to be turned down by nail salons (which has happened in the past) on grounds of “men shouldn’t have painted nails”. However TOWNHOUSE has been welcoming and open as soon as I walked in and made me feel comfortable. My first gel set was done by Eva (pictured on the left) and has lasted me easily four weeks without a single chip. My work requires me to handle very small, fidly objects that usually crack my natural nails quite rapidly. Considering that, my nails were able to withstand anything thanks to the gel they use. My second set was hand-painted by Melody (pictures on the right) and I couldn’t have been happier with how it looked in the end. Both beauticians did a fantastic job and I can’t wait for more!

I have been a client for years now. Ioanna is the best at what she does. She is friendly, approachable and makes you feel really comfortable and enjoy every moment. I went to townhouse for a luxury manicure (polish, not gel) costing £55. I had a lovely time in the actual nail bar, and the girl who did my nails was lovely and professional. They do a wonderful job with cuticles and nail shaping but I just can’t believe how quickly they chipped! I use nailberry polish as well when I do my nails at home and they last on average a week before it’s time for me to re-do them. The only thing I can think of is that they put a hand mask(that also touches the nails) on right before the actual paint job, which stops the polish from sticking down on the nail. Unfortunately I don’t think I’d go again because £55 for 2/3 days of nice nails it’s just insane. Maybe avoid if you aren’t a gel polish type of gal… (photo taken on Friday, nails were done on Tuesday)

I have been a client for a couple of years now. Townhouse is simply the best place for a manicure in London. The quality of the manicure is impeccable and will last for well over two weeks. I have very weak nails and they suggested to start thh strengthening treatment and after a month I could see the results. I think its quite difficult to find salons in London that you will have as your go to. It takes years and alot of trials and errors before you can finally have YOUR therapist, YOUR hairdresser, YOUR dermatologist, etc... Tina was fantastic, high quality of service, professional and attentive, both manicure and pedicure were done in 90 mins. Bonus point - longer hours on Thursday make it easier to squeeze in an appointment after work.

Celebrated my friend's hen do at Townhouse and purchased the "Bubbles & Cupcakes" package (mani or pedi with cupcakes and unlimited prosecco). The salon felt luxe and very clean. All the nail technicians were friendly and did a great job. I do wish we had more options other than a single colour gel though (we paid £57 per person, so I thought there would be time for some detailed work). The bride-to-be, who had a pedicure, was also seated alone and quite far from the rest of us doing manicures (as the pedicure chairs were all the way in the back). Nonetheless we had the salon to ourselves and had a good time. I think if the prosecco was served in nice glasses (rather than tin cans), the experience would have been even classier. That would have pushed my review to 5 stars instead of 4. The bride-to-be enjoyed her time so much that she scheduled a manicure for her and her mom later that week!

A great long lasting manicure that lasted for three weeks. I would only criticise changing of staff during treatments as it was not a smooth experience for that reason and also it was not uniform (one tech cut nails and on my other hand the nails were not cut despite me telling her my other nails were cut). I have been both the harrods and fritzrovia branch, and although the Harrods branch has higher prices, the quality of the gel application is just perfection! Fritzrovia cut my cuticles so deep that I bled a few times, so that was a bit off putting! I think I will go back to the harrods branch!

Love getting my nails done although their choice of colours could be improved. Melody and Ionna are my favourites and do a fab job. Bit pricey if you go slightly out of ‘their’ nail art designs as they treat anything except theirs as ‘bespoke’ - not sure that a take on a French manicure should command a higher price.

Probably the best pedicure I had in London! Cons: -They don’t have nail polishes on display, only in a booklet. Also, not all the colors are there, so you need to ask for what you want and they’ll bring it to you. It would be much easier if they had all of the colors displayed Pros: - All the instruments are sanitized really good and they use single use towels! - Very comfy sofas for pedicure - They’ve done a really good job with my cuticle and nail paint

I have probably tried over 40 nails bar in London (yay!!!) and since I first went to Townhouse almost a year ago I haven't gone anywhere else. Literally my all time fav place for nails. The girls are amazing and super nice, they are always checking and offering a coffee, tea or anything you may need. The place is BEAUTIFUL and super well located, with very easy access and 3m away from the tube and Oxford St. And well...the nails are seriously THE BEST! I have them done with gel every 3 weeks -mani and pedi- and when I come back every time they are INTACT, no one chip, nothing at all. Just perfect gel nails! If it wasn't for the obvious growing part I could keep them for way longer (I do sometimes have them for 4-5 weeks when I have no time to come or I am away and I wait to be back in London so I can get them there). Also, they do super fun limited edition nail art and collaborations that are beautiful. i got my all time favourite mani recently and it was a leopard theme so I had some leopard print art and it was GORGEOUS!!! attaching a pic. Absolutely recommend it and I have not one things to say about them!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Have been getting gel manicures here since they opened about two years ago. Really great manicures, kind and friendly staff, and on the rare occasion that the gel manicure chips early--they fix it for free. I'm also super picky about cleanliness--their tools are sterilised in the same way surgical tools are from what I understand (even come in sealed packets for each use), so you can't really beat that!

I absolutely LOVE Townhouse Nails. I started having gel manicures and pedicures here when they first opened, and I highly recommend it. Townhouse is extremely clean and hygiene-aware; they have an amazing selection of both classic and on-trend colours, materials, techniques and nail art choices; the staff who work there are incredibly professional, polite and caring. Today I had a nail art gel manicure by Monika. She did such a fantastic job! I sent an email a few days prior with an image of palm leaf nail art. When I arrived, Monika knew exactly how to achieve the look. Her creation is stunning! I was so impressed by her artistry and vision. I also love the interior design of Townhouse Nails. It's elegantly understated: a beautiful oasis of blush with matte gold accents. There is a lovely atmosphere and buzz, created by the friendly, enthusiastic staff members. So much thought has gone into Townhouse Nails - I think it's a wonderful business. Each time I've had my nails done, they've lasted for weeks and completely exceeded my expectations. And they do such a professional, perfectionist job. It really is a treat to have my nails done here. Highly recommend!

Had the most wonderful afternoon at TOWNHOUSE celebrating my friends birthday!! This salon stands out from the crowd. From the moment we stepped in we were made to feel welcome. All three of us had manicures. Staff were lovely and there was so much choice. Also a really nice touch was that we could have a glass of bubbles. Loved the fact that I could share my perfectly polished nails on the Nailfile booth!! Couldn't recommend this little gem enough!!

i think the service quality depends on the technician, went there few times and Rosie always do a good job. 3 weeks ago and she was not there, being the last client for the day, the girl did it in a rush, looks like she just wanted to go home, and the gel on one of my nails got chipped 2 days later and the cuticles was not done properly. very disappointed.

I was stopped in the street and offered a complementary manicure and what can I say, the service I received was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in. Louise welcomed me into the salon, offered me a drink in a fabulous townhouse cup, she gave a book to look at and helped me choose my colours and nail design, Angela my therapist took me over to the beautiful nail bar and I was given a single use bag containing a nail file, buffer and wooden stick that I was given to take away after my treatment. My nails are beautiful, Angela did such an amazing job i don’t think I could go anywhere else now. They have a great photobooth that u can take pictures of your nails and upload. Louise helped me do this and it was so much fun, she was so friendly and welcoming, really made the experience something different. Great customer service is so important and so hard to find. Nothing out of the ordinary for a gel manicure to justify the price tag. My manicurist also cut the cuticle of my left index finger too deeply, which has left it currently infected and bleeding (two days after my appointment), not such a great thing for someone who is immunocompromised such as I. On the bright side, the gel manicure seems to be holding up in these end times.

I had a great (and much needed!) mani yesterday at Townhouse, I was very happy to get an appointment on the reopening day. I was really impressed with the measures in place post COVID, staff were wearing gloves and had on visors. They are operating social distancing and have glass screens which made me feel very safe. Seems like they really thought it through which sadly many retail, restaurants and pubs have failed to do. Will definately be back and loving my bright summer nails!

I found Townhouse in Harper’s Bazaar, while looking for the right nail salon. The write up was good, so I thought I’d pop by. I often find salons wanting; a great pedicure but an uncomfortable chair, a comfortable chair but over priced, a reasonable price but therapists that burn your feet with the water, don’t listen, scrub your feet in sensitive places, draw blood. I could go on. The signs in Townhouse were good. A very user friendly online booking system with a two hour cancellation policy, immaculately presented premises and staff, good chairs to rest your head and close your eyes while having a foot massage. The therapist listened to what I wanted, the water was the right temperature, she didn’t force conversation, she was gentle, there was none of this “What have you done to your nails?” judgement lecture (mine are genetically soft), the shape and cuticle work was great, and the gel was immaculate. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the location and standard of work. All of the above meant that I came back the very next day for a manicure, and lovely glass of Prosecco. I received the same impeccable treatment this time too. One thing that would be the icing on the cake: Bio Sculpture! Thanks so much, and keep up the good work.

I'd say it's good - not great. I wasn't offered a drink and they seemed to be in a rush. The girl who did my nails struggled with the colour (slightly transparent pinkish tone) and didn't quite seem to know which colours they had. Another girl fortunately stepped in to help out and the result was good. If you want a french nail manicure, I was told you had to pay for nail art on each nail, which seems ridiculous. Again, I'm assuming the girl didn't know. But surely, she could have just asked someone...

After seeing the gorgeous pics on their Instagram and website (go check it out) I was so excited to visit Townhouse for a treatment. The online booking experience was easy and when I arrived for my treatment I was blown away. The attention to detail in this salon is phenomenal. Besides the gorgeous styling they are serious about hygiene (very important to me). I was very exited to be shown the “lab” where the sterilisation of tools takes place and the single use take home kit of buffers and files (these can’t be sterilised so best not shared). So without worrying about that, you can sit back in the beautiful space, prosecco in hand, and be pampered. The friendly staff made sure I was comfortable, informed about my treatment and how best care for my nails. I highly recommend you try it- just don’t forget to do your nailfie (nail selfie) at the booth on the way out...I mentioned the attention to detail!

Love love this cute nail bar💜 not only is the decor all kinds of Instagram picture goals, the staff are so lovely and helpful, I get the look I want be it my nails or my brows💓 All the staff are very friendly and have a great knowledge on different colours as well as offering fun ideas(nail art) to suit any occasion. UPDATE REVIEW: I recently visited TOWNHOUSE because of my friend’s recommendation, who is a permanent client of this salon. Unfortunately, my first visit was not the best either because the shellac I chose was old and dry, or because the nail technician did not have that level of professionalism I expected of. After seeing my review on Google, the management of the salon called me and offered to re-do the work. I was told that my nails would be re-done by a senior nail technician, so I agreed. I got my manicure and pedicure done yesterday, and I’m absolutely happy with the result. Everything is perfect and exactly like in these pictures. I intended to put four stars at the beginning, considering the fact my manicure and pedicure was not good at the first time. However, because of the management client-oriented approach and my final great result, I think the salon deserves five stars. Would I recommend Townhouse? Yes, but always ask them to give you a senior nail technician if you want the best result.
